Did you sync it to your ipod?
It must be on your ipod in order to listen to it.

While this won't help if you are having password problems, I did want to point out that you do not need to access old machines to de-authorize them. Once you are signed in at the iTunes store, access "my account" by clicking on your username in the top navigation bar. Then "manage devices". You can remove any old machines that way. -
I bought the photoshop install online and I put it on my laptop. But now I have a new and better computer for photo and video but I can not figure out how to reinstall my photoshop on this new computer. Still not working. I need step by step instructions... I'm trying to follow the ones on the link as best I can but after I install the Adobe Download Assistant, log into Adobe and then click on the file 1 hyperlink and begin download for CS3 Adobe Illustrator, it downloads to my desktop. Then when I open it it says the following- see screen shot saying "setup" cant be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."
Additionally, Creative Suite is not feautred on this screen after I have signed int Adobe with my ID. See screen shot below.

Purchases go in your library. They'll be listed in the main section for each type of content, and normally also in the Purchased playlist. Was the song ever in your library, or have you been totally unsuccessful in getting it to download?
I am tried of repurchasing songs. You should always be able to access any song you've bought in the past!
Unfortunately the content owners do not as of this time agree. All the major download stores have the same "one purchase one download" for content other than apps because the content owners require payment for every download whether or not it's a new purchase.
If you can post more details about your setup, software versions, and the exact nature of the problem, perhaps someone here can help you figure out what's going on.

How come ITunes says I purchased a song, but I can't find it in any library
As in purchased it 4 minutes ago, or 4 years ago? The new versions of iTunes are always very reliable at having songs show up in the main library display window when an item is added. Does your song appear in Recently Added? Have you checked your media folders to see if the song is actually on your computer but it is just iTunes that is having conniptions?

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

If you are using the iTunes command File>Transfer Purchases from iPod, only purchased music is transferred to iTunes from your iPod.
