You can't transfer gift card credits from one account to another. You'll have to sign in using the old account on your iPhone to use the credit balance. =)

My Ipod touch was lost at school a few days ago, and when I went to icloud, i located and found where the person who has my ipod lives. The cops were called so they could retrieve it, but as to have proof i have none, because i have accidently removed my ipod touch from icloud Find My iPhone. Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries. -

Do you have an Apple store in your state?
State sales taxes may apply if you do have a brick & mortar store in the state
& depending how close to "like 11 dollars" that $10 game is, you may not have enough to cover the full cost (with tax).

I, apparently, mistakenly deleted an older backup to iCloud. I thought the newest backup would have everything - the original infor + what had been saved recently. So, I deleted the older backup. Now it seems that contacts and calendar events have been removed from my phone and MacBook. Is there any way to retrieve that?
Thanks.And actually, no I am not sure that the contacts aren't being restored, but then overwritten by iCloud because it has more recent data. I don't know how to find that out.

The only way to get rid of those little leftover balances is to make a request to iTunes Customer Service:

The balance is not held on the card. Credit is held in your iTunes Store account on Apple's servers. Once redeemed, the card itself is then worthless. The balance will be shown next your user name when viewing the iTunes Store through iTunes on your computer, or at the bottom of the Featured screen in the iTunes or App Store apps on an iOS device, presuming of course you're logged into the applicable account.

Do you have the card? If it has never been redeemed, the amount remaining is the full amount.
If it has been redeemed, there is zero value on the card.
If it was redeemed, the full amount was credited to the account, and can be spent down from there. To see your remaining credit balance, log into the iTunes Store and look at the upper right.
If you are not sure whether the card has been redeemed, just go ahead and try to redeem it. If it has already been used, iTunes will tell you. -
i have macbook pro running on 10.9.2 every time i download music files and transfare the it duplicates the file is there any way off switching it off please help

At the top, for Folder action receives files and folders added to, select Other...
in the window that opens, select your Downloads folder, and then Choose
from the Actions on the left, drag Filter Finder Items over to the column on the right
Where it says Any Content, select Kind
Where it says Any, select music
Drag Move Finder Items over to the rightfor To: select other, and navigate to your user folder > Music > iTunes > iTunes Media > Automatically Add to iTunes

My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account on it (via the Store > View Account menu option). On my iPad and iPhone it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to)

Once you redeem the card, there is no value left on it. The Redeem process puts the full amount as a credit balance into your account, and then you spend it down by using your account.
As Gnome notes, you can always see how much is credit balance is on your account. -

Not in the Safari browser she can't. That is not supported on the iPad. There are other mobile browsers that do have that functionality - one is iCab Mobile.

The gift would be sent via email to the address you gave when you set up the gift. Have you checked that email account? If so and nothing has appeared, make sure there aren't any anti-spam filters in place that might be blocking emails from Apple. Then if you still don't see the email, try resending the gift:

Having a credit balance won't prevent you from entering in a new payment method. A balance remaining would be an issue only if you're trying to change the country of your iTunes Store account. If your payment method is being rejected, then either it's invalid - a debit card which are in many countries not accepted, or a credit card from another country - or there's something amiss with your account. In the latter instance, or if the gift still doesn't come through, contact the iTunes Store and request assistance.

I have huge lag with Safari's Reading List using a rMBP. I have probably 80 articles saved, which is likely the cause of the lag. Is there any way to export that list of articles so as to be able to delete them from Reading List but still have a record of the articles I intend to read?
I'm currently dealing with this issue myself, except that my rMBP has NO articles in the reading list. It's a brand new rMBP too, purchased just this week, with the 2.6 Ghz Processor & 16GB of RAM.
Let's see what we can find. I may just take it back to the Apple Store. -
In contacts there is the possibility to add a new event, as the birthdays, but they do not appear in iCal. Is there any way to make that possible? It is normal to have a person with his birthday, anniversary and others key dates you want to link to such person, but the only one shows up is the birthday. How to be able to show all those dates linked to people in the agenda in the iCal?
