  • ITunes refunded money but didn't take back license of album

    I am really confused. My little sister download an album from iTunes mistakenly, and when I reported the problem, iTunes refunded my money. But they didn't take back the license of the album my sister mistakenly purchased! I know it's beneficial to me, but don't they take back the albums after they've refunded your money? I'm really confused. I love Apple, and I just don't like cheating them you know. Anyway, any answer to my question will be very much appreciated!

    There's no way they can "take back" the tracks since they can't reach into your device to erase them, though they can remove the ability for you to re-download the tracks in the future. You're on your honor to delete the refunded tracks from your devices.

  • Itunes refund did not work

    I bought a music album for $15.99 on iTunes using a gift card accidentally  and iTunes sent me an email saying that they refunded it. I checked my store credit and i did not receive the refund.I also tried to purchase some music on iTunes that was less than $15.99 and iTunes told me i have insufficient store credit. I checked my purchase history and it says that the album was refunded.

    I made an accidental purchase today and I reported it to iTunes and was told that I was given a full refund. But where did it go? I used partial credits and part of it went on my credit card. Did it go back to my account on iTunes or go to my credit card?

    Sorry to say... But... If there is a Restictions Passcode set and you do not know what it is... then you are in trouble...
    To remove the Restrictions passcode you will need to Restore the Device as New...
    You will not be able to perform a backup as this would include the Restrictions passcode... which is what you have to remove...

    What do you do when your iphone can't connect to the iTunes Store?

    How many homescreens do you have ? There is a limit of 11 after which apps are only accessible via the iPhone's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right). If you have less than 11 then have you got an app age rating that is hiding it (Settings > General > Restrictions > Apps) ?
    You could also try a reset to see if you can find it after the iPhone has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

    I downloaded a few songs using iTunes from my iPhone 5.  They show in my music selection but when I go to play them, nothing happens.  In the playlist it gets skipped.  Anyone know how to fix this?  It won't let we renown load it either.

    Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting those songs from the Music and redownload them via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone.
    If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download with the same problem then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
    If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Hey, Over a year ago I bought The Office seasons 1, 2 and 3 using individual episodes (ya i lost a ton of money doing that) but anyway, Soon after I bought these the contract with NBC expired so the episodes were no longer available to purchase on iTunes, so that was fine but then iTunes resumed their contract with NBC so the episodes were put back on iTunes only problem the same episodes were in higher quality then the ones I bought, Will iTunes give me the new episodes with the higher quality?

    No they will not. All sales in iTunes are final. I encountered the same problem with a purchase I made prior to the high quality files being available. I contacted Apple phone support and they said no. their iTunes policy is that all sales are final.

    I am traveling and purchased an itunes card in Canada, it was rejected by itunes USA, do I need to return the card to the canadian retailer or can it be redeemed on my US listed itunes acount?

    You need to either go back to Canada and redeem/spend it there, sell it to someone who can use it, or return it to the retailer if possible. Very few if any retailers will take scratched gift cards back because it would be easy for a dishonest person to take advantage of such return policies. It's probably not worth trying unless the card hasn't been scratched.
