If the Skype app does not have a setting to continue to use the mic built into the iPod when headphones are plugged in, you will have to use a pair of headphones that includes a mic.

You cannot pair your iPod to a cell phone, so forget about it.
The only way you can get free WiFi is to hang out at a Denny's, a Starbucks, or a truck stop, and I don't think your parents would approve....

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues downloading some episodes to your iPad.
I would first suggest you sign out of your iTunes account on your iPad, restart the device and sign back in.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID account > Tap Sign Out

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Whats an app that my boyfriend and I can use to video chat and text (type to each other) at the same time?

I have an Ipod Touch and he has an Iphone 4. We have tried tango, but the audio on it is awful. He has 4g but on certain apps he has to have wifi to use them, like facetime, but he doesnt have wifi. So I have facetime on my ipod touch, and i have wifi, but he doesnt! so It needs to be an app that can be accessed with wifi AND 4g. So we need this app to allow us to do video, and at the same time type to each other on the screen. ( or at the bottom of the screen, whichever.) Because for some reason on the different video apps we've tried he can never hear me, and sometimes i cant hear him. I dont always have a very good signal, so if we couild just have the video we would be fine with just typing to each other. Also I'm staying at a hotel with my parents and they sleep early and i dont want to wake them, so typing to each other would be very ideal. Anyone know of an app that can do these things?

Have you ever even used skype on an iphone or ipod? We tried it and there is no way to type to each other while you are video chatting. You can do the typing during the video on a COMPUTER, but not on an iphone or ipod.

Thanks but that doesn't give me the information I need. I am putting an email on my ipod for people to contact me for iMessage and FaceTime but when I put the email in, it gives me an error saying that the email cannot be veirified because it is already in use. My Apple ID can be varified, just not the email that they will contact me with.

I can longer find the airplay icon on my iPad when I double click the home icon. It worked fine and i used it for a couple of weeks to mirror with the Apple TV and then it mysteriously disappeared. Now when I double click and slide the icons at the bottom to far left, instead of finding airplay there is an extra music icon and a music control panel. If I open up the music app, there is an airplay icon top right next to volume control which works fine with mirroring the Apple TV, which suggests to me wi-if and networks are fine. I can only mirror music however. Any ideas anyone?

I concur with Ralph; while you can get your iPad replaced, I likewise suggest you consider putting the money toward a newer iPad. Apple has some good deals on refurbished iPads in the online Apple Store you could check out. Depending on what is wrong with your current iPad, you might be able to sell it to someone for parts - eBay is the most likely venue - and recoup some additional money to put toward a newer iPad. I'd recommend a 3rd-generation iPad if you can afford it, though the iPad 2 will still run the most recent version of iOS.

I am guessing there is an issue with the store right now considering so many people are having the same problem on different platforms. If you're trying to connect to a Bonjour server on the remote network, that won't work over a layer 3 VPN. Use something like Hamachi or one of the SSH-tunnelling Bonjour proxy apps for that.

You can use any computer but your data will be lost if you have no backup.
