HT1695 Did iOS 6.0.2 update, but still can't connect to certain WiFi networks. FIX THIS, APPLE!
Like the subject line says, I installed the 6.0.2. update with my fingers crossed, but my iPhone 5 still doesn't connect to certain networks. Of course, Apple in their "Troubleshooter" sends me to an article telling me how to connect to a WiFi network, and to reset Network settings (which I've done numerous times).
This happens in a local coffee shop, and one odd thing is that the owner thinks he has his router set to require a password, but none of my devices show it to be a secured network (though it was and did require a password when I initially joined the network).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the computer wont connect to networks. I see you have used network diagnostic. I would recommend that you read this article, there are a lot of other things you can do in this article that may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

I have tried everything including reseting my iPhone5c but still can't connect to App Store, and it's been over a week now! Totally annoyed now!! I'm not sure if it started after I updated my iOS cos I was able to update a few other apps. I just can't connect to neither apps store nor iTunes! I need help else I'd boil this phone alive!

I cannot find the AirPlay icon for the life of me. I have iOS 7.0.2 on my iPad Mini. Connected to my WiFi network just fine. I swipe up to get to the control center badges and all I see is the AirDrop icon. Trying to disable mirroring on ipad for Netflix streaming and don't know what to do. Any luck out there?
If you last used an Apple TV to mirror your device and have updated to the newest Apple TV software, go into settings and turn airplay back on. The icon should then appear on your iPad mini when you swipe up allowing you to disable it for Netflix. After updating my Apple TV software for some reason it turned airplay off.

My iPhone 4s has been update as I said in subject bar.. Now can't connect to any of my cars Bluetooth systems. Also even more frustratingly can't connect to any wifi networks at home or work!!
How can apple put out such an update that causes so much grief and inconvenience to hundreds of people. Not to mention risking lives with Bluetooth kits not working...outraged!!!!!!First, grow up. Just because YOUR phone isn't working, doesn't mean Apple put out bad software. I've not had any difficulty, nor has anyone else I know. And just how is Apple risking lives with Bluetooth kits not working? It's YOUR decision to talk on the phone or text and drive. Not Apple's.
We're users here, volunteering our time to help others. Posts like yours, which are whiny and ranting, simply means we're likely to ignore you and not provide you with any help. Not to mention, it makes you look absolutely foolish.
Further making you look foolish is the fact that you haven't even asked a technical support question, nor have you provided anyone here with any troubleshooting steps you might have taken, including those recommended in the user guide.

Issue 1:
I have installed IOS 7 in my 4s and when i connect it to my Mac itunes it detects my phone but i am not able to copy from the itunes version 11.1 (126).
can some one check why i am not able to transfer pics or music from my Mac to iPhone 4s and can let me know on this please.

sathishI have the same problem. I think that someone tried my iphone before me because when I want to reset it, I'm invited to enter a password that I didn't set. Also, when I go the Map application, the iphone indicate that I'm locateded in China while I'm in Tunisia. Now, I can't connect to my iphone to itunes, and I can't reset it because it ask me to enter a password that I didn't set.

Hey guys,
I can play music and hear it just fine, with or without headphones. When I press on the keypad I can hear the noise it makes, I can hear calls with my headphones plugged in, or when the speaker option is on, however, unless this happens, I can't hear the person I am on the phone with.
I've tried restarting, resetting, earasing all content, and restoring it with iTunes and that didn't work.
I've tried cleaning the ports with a toothbrush, or pressing gently on the microphone and that didn't work.
I've tried calling with the headphone on, and taking them off in the middle of the call and that didn't work either.
I am currently outside of the US so I can't go to an Apple store, so I am wondering if any of you guys have been succesful at solving this problem. Your help is much appreciated

If you have warranty (1 year is basic, upto 3yrs if you bought an extended apple care), you can take your iphone to any apple store in the world for a free repair, yes, apple warranties are international.
But usually they replace it with another new phone.
So make sure you update your phone and backup everything on your itunes.
Even if you're ot of warranty, you can get it fixed from apple by paying extra.
For now you have to use headphone or loud speaker

I'm trying to extend my wifi network with time capsule but it can't find the existing wifi network
I'm trying to extend my wifi network with time capsule but it can't find the existing BT wifi network even though it is there with a good signal strength. The Time Capsule is connected to a Netgear router via ethernet.
You will need to start over on the setup of the Time Capsule as follows:
Disconnect any Ethernet cables that might be connected to the Time Capsule, but leave it powered on
Hold in the reset button on the back of the Time Capsule for 8-10 seconds and release. The reset button is located next to the AC power socket.
Allow a full minute for the Time Capsule to restart to a slow, blinking amber light
Connect the Ethernet cable from a LAN <--> port on the Netgear to the WAN "O" port on the Time Capsule. The Ethernet cable must remain connected at all times.
Click the WiFi icon at the top of the Mac's screen
Look for a setting of New AirPort Base Station
Click on Time Capsule
The example below shows an AirPort Express. You will see Time Capsule on your screen.
That will get the setup wizard going. It will take a minute to analyze the settings, then display a screen that looks like this, except you will see a picture of the Time Capsule
Network Name..........Type in the exact name that the Netgear wireless is using
Base Station.............Type in a name that you want to call the Time Capsule. Use something short and simple. Mine is TC, for example
Password..................Type in the exact password that the Netgear wireless requires
Verify.........................Verify the Password again
Click Next
The setup wizard will configure everything for you automatically. When you see the message of Setup Complete, click Done.
That's it. Now you have one big "extended" network. Technically, this is called a "roaming" network. -

I mostly use my wi-fi here at home and I've never had major problems before but I woke up this morning to find that my iPod can't connect tot he wi-fi anymore. It was working perfectly the night before and now it just doesn't connect no matter what I do!

It shows that I've connected to my router but I can't do anything that requires a wi-fi connection (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter) even though it says it's connected and shows full bars! I have been using firefox for a while, then it would not connect, I have change nothing on my computer. I double checked the firewall and browsers .
I downloaded another exe and it still will not go to the page.
What can I doA possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and after doing the update for Firefox 15, firefox won't start. I get no error messages or anything it just won't start. I removed Firefox and reinstalled but that didn't help.

[http://kb.mozillazine.org/Kill_application With Firefox completely closed] (probably because you can not start it), open the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory application folder] (by default, C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox on Windows) rename firefox.exe to firefox1.exe, then double-click firefox1.exe. If Firefox runs without problems, it could indicate that your firewall is blocking Firefox.

Hi all
I've been on to FAQ and then used PSE Updater to load the latest Camera Raw plug in.
If I now go into the updater it tells me that my PSE is all up to date.
However, when I try and load an .ORF file into Organiser I still get the message that the file is either already in the system (it's not) or it's an un-supported file type (but Adobe say's it is).
Any help would be very welcome... Any which is reasonably simple will be brilliant.

Is your camera still the OM-D E-M5 ?
Can you confirm the ACR version that you have installed to confirm that it is ACR 6.7.
In the editor go to Help -> About Plug-in -> Camera RAW.
If it says 6.7.0.339 then it is the correct one.

Hi, Hope this is in the right place.
I'm trying to upload photos into facebook from my iMac. I've clicked on the upload to facebook icon in iphoto but just get an error message saying 'error occurred with iPhoto - try again later. I've also had problems lately when I click on a photo to open it I just get a grey screen with an exclamation mark. I've downloaded the latest software but nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help please?
