Resolution
Many Wi-Fi issues can be resolved by doing the following:
Basic troubleshooting
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again.
Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.For AirPort Base Stations, refer to this article for information about firmware updates. For third-party Wi-Fi routers, check the manufacturer's website for details on updating your firmware.
Restart your iOS deviceHold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.

On the iPad, using the mail app, there is no way to do what you are asking without tapping the flag icon and marking the item as unread. Have you tried the OWA app for the iPad? It may have that functionality, but I haven't tested it as you need an Office 365 subscription with Exchange support to use the app.

IPhone 4 no longer picks up WiFi signal

Has anyone else experienced this?
My iPhone 4 which is less than 2 years old, no longer picks up WiFi unless it is right beside the router. This means I am having to rely on 3G signal in my own home! No other electronic devices in my home are struggling with this issue. This is still an issue when I am in other places with WiFi, the phone ocassionally recognizes that there is WiFi available but by the time it starts to connect all the WiFi signal has been lost again.
I have tried:
- turning my phone off and on.
- updating my phone
- turning on and off my router
- searching for a solution to this online, but it seems I am alone in this issue.

I restored my iPhone and nothing has changed except I have lost several hours of my life trying to make sure everything is backed up and then trying to reset all my apps.
I restarted the iPhone as a new device, still no wifi connection or ability to recognize any wifi networks.

Ever since updating to ios6, my iPhone 4 has weak to no wifi signal and iMessage will not work, MMS stopped working, and I don't get my social network notifications on wifi unless I'm close tithe router or I catch a good signal from it.

Its whenever the signal has registered or my phone has authenticated it, I've had these problems since last year with no fix, I've reset my router countless times, I'm on Verizon and NEVER had wifi or imessage issues before ios6 .

Make Genius Appointment and take your iPhone to the Apple Store. Only Genius can make these determinations. The broken screen voids your Warranty. The Genius could overlook this, you never know. Take your iPhone to Apple Store, hope for the best, but be prepared to pay $149 for Out of Warranty Replacement iPhone 4. A good price for replacement of an iPhone 4 with broken screen and WiFi problems.

TS1398 new iphone 4 doesn't find any wifi signals

I bought my daughter the iphone4 and it wont pick up any wifi signals, weve never had any problems with our other apple devices and ive tried every single bit of advice i can find on here but i cant get it working, has anyone else experienced this?

Apple will replace the iPhone. Tap Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. See if fixed. If still problem, Restore the iPhone with current iTunes on computer. See if fixed. If still problem, make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send to Apple for resolution under Warranty. If they cannot get it working, they will resolve it, with a perfect replacement iPhone 4 exactly like yours.

IPhone 6 keeps getting kicked off wifi - No connection problems though

So I've been having this problem with my iPhone 6 wifi ..
I'm currently going to Texas Tech University for college, and they have campus-wide free wifi for students (after supplying login information). Now when I connect to their wifi network, I connect with no problem. However, if I wait 4-5 minutes, I'm kicked back to LTE. I have no connection issues though, as I can go back into settings and reconnect to the TTU network with no problems.
I asked some IT guys at the school, and they said they "weren't sure" exactly why it was happening, though they guessed saying, "Your phone bumps you off wifi automatically in order to save battery life." -- Is this true? Is there some way I can change this so I stay on wifi when I'm on campus?
I've tried turning my phone on & off, same thing happens. Likewise, this same issue happens when I'm home at my apartment trying to connect to my own wireless server.
Any ideas / suggestions?

Yes, that would be it. It has to do with the way the IT department has the Wi-Fi setup. This prevents people from coming by the school, parking the car and using their Wi-Fi. You have go log in to use it. There is a way for them to set up the Wi-Fi to be what is called persistent, so when you disconnect when the phone goes to sleep, it will connect again when it wakes up, but they may not want to do that. We have that at our college, but that is only for certain users and has a different network SSID. Unfortunately, you are going to have to live with the way they have it set up and log in as requested. Take care.

My iPhone 5 is a little over a month old. My iPad and other devices still connect to my home wifi and when I help people get onto the school wifi their devices continue to work. I haven't dropped it at all so it can't be anything broken on the inside. I reset my network settings and that didnt help

Call Apple support or take it to an Apple store for evaluation. If it is defective they will replace it.

This is nothing special:
turn off wifi in your phone, disconnect modem and router from power, wait 10 seconds, connect the modem and wait till it is fully started, then connect the router to power and wait a few seconds till it has started, then set wifi on in your phone.

Iphone 4 ios 6.1.3 wifi weak signal

Can anyone help, I have just bought a second hand iphone 4 but it looses the wifi signal if the phone is greater than 2metres from the wifi router. We have 2 other iphones in the family that work ok so its not the router that is at fault.
The iphone is on ios 6.1.3.
I had new covers fitted and at the same time the person installed a new wifi board but it did not improve the performance.

HT1695 How can i connect to a wifi with my Iphone 4s when it searches for wifi but never finds any signals anywhere available?

My Iphone 4s can not scan for wifi signals. My phone was jailbroken and it was working fine until one day, my phone began to have problems searching for wifi signals. It connected and took longer to do so, however the next day it didnt pick up any wifi what so ever. I tap settings>wifi>on> and its an endless search in places where there is wifi.I saddly lost my hard drive where i kept a back up for my iphone, so restoring it from a back up wont do. I plugged it in on another
computer which i had to set restore as a new phone. I did and i still hasn't worked, i am open to suggestions and the following i am aware of:
It hasnt been dropped
condensation/humidity (which i dont want it to be because it has been raining a lot and its never been wet)

What encryption our you using? Try changing the encryption, icluding using no encryption for test perposes.

IPhone 5 unable to connect to WiFi

iPhone 5 unable to connect to WiFi - signal good, iPad connects fine but iPhone comes up with error message "Unable to join the network". I've tried reboot. Any ideas?

I called Apple and explained the problem. After I explained the wifi connection problems, they said it was a hardware issue and sent me to my local Apple store and exchanged mine for a new iPhone. I backed it up prior to getting the new phone and it was easily restored.

Why does my iPhone 4 keep loosing it's ability to download emails or connect to the Internet? I can power it off at when I restart I can send and receive but after awhile all I get is it trying to connect.

I'm guessing it's more likely a problem with your carrier's 3G network in the area. You shouldn't have to modify any settings for 3G to work consistently on a supported carrier.
You can try turning off 3G data, with will switch over to Edge if it exists. If it does, it will be much slower than 3G, but I suppose faster than 0 is better than 0.
I'd contact your carrier about it.
