HT1711 how come an "i" icon is showing up on some song and they wont let me preview them anymore?

i cant seem to preview you all ths songs anymore and an "i" icon shows up now instead of playing. why is this?

This is driving me absolutely nuts too. I think it must've just begun in the last couple of days. Maybe with the new iTunes update? Almost half of all the songs I want to preview the cursor goes right over, does not highlight or make bold, and I can't click to play the preview.

i have just plugged my i phone 4s into my computer and it automatically synced with i tunes, i tunes for some reason removed all the apps and backed up my phone automatically. ive gone to put my apps back on and its showing me an automatic flash up message saying, i tunes could not upload ibooks onto your device,it must be authorised. I just upgraded to the new iTunes7 and while I can now "see" in iTunes7 all the songs that I previously had in my older version iTunes library, about 1/4 of them now have a ! next to them and those songs can't be played in iTunes or copied to my new IPod. When I click on one of those songs I get an error message that says "original file could not be found." While most of my music library is in a separate partition on my hard drive, some songs were copied in from CDs (I think directly into iTunes ???) and others I used Nero Wave Editor to copy songs from old vinyl records. I can't find those CD or old vinyl songs anywhere on my hard drive !!!!! Anybody have any ideas on how to solve this????? Those vinyl records are now gone........

I had the same problem - 1/2 of my tunes have the ! - even all of my tunes purchased from iTunes! When I upgraded to v7, iTunes also made copies of many of the titles; the files were not copied, just the titles, with a new date of todays date as the date added to iTunes. We need to get this fixed!!!

How can I get my photos back, after my computer crashed and now I can only preview them?

Before my computer crashed I had saved my photos on my WD My passport but I think it was only saved like a preview. Once my computer crashed I brought my pictures back to the HD Imac Computer but now I can see them but I can't save, print or export them. Is it possible for me to fix this and if so how?

We need to know more, to be able to understand what you have done.
How did you save your images to the external drive? Did you copy your Aperture library there?
Is your Aperture library referenced or managed - did you store the original image files outside the Aperture library or are they included in your Aperture library? If you have referenced images, did you back them up too?
The error message you are seeing, shows that Aperture cannot find the original image file. That is indicated by the yellow warning badge with the arrow.
If your Aperture library is referenced, you need to restore your backed up original image files as well from their backup, and then use the the command "File > Locate Referenced Files" to reconnect the image versions with the missing original files. Do you have a backup of the originals? If you cannot restore your referenced originals, you can turn your previews into new originals; post back, if you need help with that.
If your Aperture library is managed, and all your originals are included inside your Aperture library, try if the Aperture Library First Aid Tools can fix this:
Repairing and Rebuilding Your Aperture Library: Aperture 3 User Manual
Check if the "Masters" folder inside your Aperture Library contains any image files: Crtl-click the Aperture library and use "Show Package Contents". Are the missing original image files inside?

I understood what you were saying. You did type 4.3.5 in your post. Several other things to try.
Close all open apps like I described above. Just tap the home button first so that you will be able to access all of your apps. Close every single one and then restart again.
You can also delete the app and download it again. As long as you use the same Apple ID and password there is no charge to download it again. Tap and hold down on the GarageBand app icon until it wiggles. Then tap the X to delete it. Download it again.
Reset the iPad. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. It takes about 10-15 seconds. Ignore the red slider shut off bar. When the Apple logo appears you can let go of the buttons and the iPad will reboot.
The final thing to try is to download another app - any free app. Sometimes that seems to reset something on the iPad. You can always delete the free app if you don't want it.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove may not be the one named in the update notice. For example, the App Store could prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app could be "Final Cut Pro." Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.

5. Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.

The BPM field can be viewed, but it is almost always empty unless you have taken steps to populate it.
You can use a 3rd party tool to perform BPM detection and add it to your iTunes database:

Wtih iPhoto 9 when the iPhoto Trash is emptied the files get moved to the Trash bin in the Dock as a second chance to change your mind. Look in the Dock's Trash bin.
