Hi, I need help with the title of this discussion. The fact that several of my songs stop at around 15 seconds and just skip to the next song when i just purchased them.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I think this is a more general problem Apple are having at the moment. I have just written in another thread:
"I am having this problem too. There have been quite a few other threads about it. It applies to single tracks too. They appear to download OK, and show as the right file size and length, but stop playing well before the end and iTunes moves on to the next track. Redownloading them helps sometimes but not always.
I have only had this problem for the last week or so. The longer the track the more likely there is to be a problem (perhaps obviously)."
I think it is the tracks themselves rather than iTunes. If you export the problematic track to the Desktop and try playing it with Quicktime it stops in just the same place.

Either this needs to get fixed or i will request my money back because i will not work for my money while other lie about what i spend it on.

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

Intermittent issues are often a result of interference. Check www.istumbler.net (netstumbler for windows). Refer to router manual on how to change channels, make sure it's up to date.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

In my library i'll show an album but on my classic it will show the album twice, why? and how can I fix it?

Not every body is a computer wizz so why make it so difficult to get an answer. I asked how do I fix it when your library on your PC shows an album that same album shows up twice on my classic. Am I the only one getting frustrated from having to jump through hoops. I thought they were going to make this technology easier for the common person, maybe I was wrong. Help.

if you own a mac try to re format the disc to journal.
If you are on a windows like me, try to reformat the disc to NTFS. Then it will display that you need to restore as the ipod is in recovery mode. It restored with success. and voila, brand new working ipod.

What is going on with my display and how can I fix this?

I believe this started after a certain instance where I was using my HDMI out to watch hulu on my TV. I accidently turned off the TV, which made both my TV and the MacbookPro display to go black.
After a restart, the monitor is sometimes black, but in some cases, it displays the desktop...but in the wrong resolution, and with artifacts and lines streaking throughout. I can sometimes fix this by plugging in and unplugging the HDMI cable and restarting the computer randomly.... This has been a reoccurring problem over the last few weeks so I have attempted to refrain from shutting the computer down completely.

Thank you for responding. I just went to the link. I previously checked on system preferences but everything there appears as it should. I also went through the other steps such as trying a headset. There is also no sound with this. I don't remember doing anything different on my computer between yesterday and today that may have to do with software or how preferences are selected. Do you want a slideshow or a desktop background?
For a slideshow you can use iPhoto's slideshows, but the maximum duration of a slide is 999 seconds or 16.65 minutes. You would have to add each photo twice to see it 30 minutes.
File > New Slideshow.
Pick the Classic Theme or Ken Burns Theme.
In the Settings > All Slides tab set the option "Play each slide for a maximum of 999 seconds" and enable "Repeat Slideshow".
If you have a clean Desktop set the System Preferences > Desktop and Screensaver to set the Desktop picture from a folder and set "Change Picture" to "Every 30 minutes".

Today, I was on Tumblr, when something popped up. It disappeared before I was able to read it. Suddenly, the page refreshed. Not one picture loaded. I am only able to read the text. None of the pictures on the website are showing up. I tried everything. Restarting the computer, opening a new Firefox window, and everything else I could think of. Tumblr is running fine, on IE. With Tumblr on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see [https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Site+Identity+Button]) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.

Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

My iPod fourth genereation is closing apps down randomly shortly after I open them. Even the apps that were provided by apple won't stay open long. I've tried everything they've suggested and nothing has worked. What's wrong with my iPod and how can I fix it? I even reset the entire thing to factory settings and it did nothing.
Also, my back camera won't work most of the time and when it does red scratchy lines appear all over the screen and the picture won't come out clear.

I think I fixed the apps, though.
*Turn off your wifi and only turn it on when you want to use it
*Lower your brightness
*Turn off "Push" on notifications and mail and turn on "Manual"
*Return to your home screen and then double click twice and tap and hold one of the apps you've previously opened, when they jiggle tap the red on each app until fully erased.
*Don't use your ipod while it is charging, allow at least a 10 minute charge (fully charged) before using it again.

Your daughter must have signed into your iCloud account, perhaps when she updated her phone. You can confirm this by going to Settings>iClloud on her phone and seeing if she is using the same iCloud ID.
To fix this you would need to migrate her phone to a separate iCloud account. To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos that she wishes to keep on your phone to her camera roll by opening her my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tapping the share icon (box with upware pointing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and provide the password when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone. This only deletes the account from her phone, not from iCloud; it won't effect your device(s). When you delete the account you will be asked if you want to keep or delete the iCloud data from her phone. If she needs to migrate a copy of the data to her new account, choose Keep; otherwise, choose Delete. Then sign back in with a separate Apple ID to create her new account and if migrating data to the new account, choose Merge when prompted.
Once she is on a separate account, if she migrated a copy of the data to her new account you can go to icloud.com from your computer, sign into her new iCloud account and delete your data from her account.
