HT1711 Merging app's from IPHONE to my MAC problem??

I have downloaded new version of ITUNE onto my Mac and connected my IPHONE to sync music and APP'S. The music merged and the icon's for the app's howver can't play the app's on my Mac's.
Can't figure out why? Anyone know?

If you are trying to use the apps from your phone on your Mac then you can't, they are different operating systems - the iPhone runs iOS, your Mac uses OS X.

You can only sync to one computer at a time. If you switch to a new one all apps and other media files will be erased. Transfer your purchases before you sync to the new one. To do this, disable autosync, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose "transfer purchases"
Backup manually the same way. Before you start, make sure to sync again with your old computer and you have at least one contact and event set up on the new one to be able to merge data after the first sync. Restore the rest of your data using the backup you made before.

Cannot sync ical from iphone to my mac pro

Hi All
I have tried all sorts and although I ticked the relevant boxes on itunes, I cannot transfer (sync) ical info from iphone to my mac.
I have no info on my mac i cal, everything else like contacts seem to sync no problem!
I have tried using isync instead of itunes as some folk recommended but without any success.
Any ideas??

Before syncing calendar events with an empty supported calendar app on your computer, you need to enter one calendar event in the supported calendar app on your computer - in this case in iCal on your Mac. Make this calendar event up if needed, which can be deleted later.
If there are any calendar events available on your iPhone, this should provide a merge prompt with this first sync for this data, which you want to select.

iSync can't be used to sync anything with an iPhone. iSync can be used to reset the sync history on your Mac, which is done via iSync preferences.

iTunes automatically syncs voice memos to your iTunes library when you connect iPhone to your computer. This lets you listen to voice memos on your computer and provides a backup if you delete them from iPhone.
Voice memos are synced to the Voice Memos playlist. iTunes creates the playlist if it doesn’t exist. When you sync voice memos to iTunes, they remain in the Voice Memos application until you delete them. If you delete a voice memo on iPhone, it isn’t deleted from the Voice Memos playlist in iTunes. However, if you delete a voice memo from iTunes, it is deleted from iPhone the next time you sync with iTunes.

The transfer of photos from an iPhone to a Mac is an import. It is very similar to what happens when you move photos from any camera to the Mac (if you have ever done that). Instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
The iTunes sync can move photos the other direction (Mac to iPhone). That "sync" works the same way each time you do it -- it sets the non-Camera Roll photos on the phone to match the current iTunes photo page settings. Instructions for that: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236

Accessing Credit in App Store from Iphone

When I log into the App Store and view my account from my lap top, I see that I have an available credit. However, when I attempt to purchase an app on my iphone 4 (rescenty updated to the new opperating system) it does not recognize that I have an available credit and forces me to use a CC. This is a rescent issue from when I updated to the new opperating system and did not have this problem before. Any thoughts?

I did a Spotlight Search, and it's not there. The "Gadgets" I'm talking about is "Gadgets by Esteve Fiol Sastre" and it's a bunch of tools like level, flashlight, protractor, etc., and that one is not in the App Store. Downloaded Apps Disappeared from iPhone 5S

All downloaded apps disappeared from my iPhone 5S. The restriction setting is off and I don't have hidden apps. I tried to reset my phone, but did not work either. When I checked from App Store, it said "open", but I couldn't click open. When a new app finished installing, it also disappeared. HELP!

Assuming you don't have any restrictions set on your apps (Settings --> General --> Restrictions, Apps)
If the app has suddenly disappeared, but when you go to the App Store can it says "Open" instead of insta//download, that means the app is still there, but iOS seems to have lost track of it.
You can try backing up and restoring from a backup.
Or
You can try deleting the app and re-installing:
Settings --> Usuage (wait for the app list to load) and then you delete it there, and then re-install.
(You WILL lose ALL data that was saved under that app tho!)

Apps missing from iPhone 5s

There was discussion today regarding a blank screen when accessing the App Store. The App Store seems to be working fine now, but there are some apps missing from my iPhone (ie. Passbook, Netflix, Hangouts, etc.). I have tried powering off and rebooting my phone, but to no avail, the apps are still missing. I have also looked into downloading the apps again from the App Store. The App Store box shows that I can "open" the app from there, but when I tap on that icon, it does nothing. Is this a case where I have to re-sync my phone to iTunes, and hopefully the apps will show up again?

ITunes default computer - new iMac will not back up APP's from iPhone 3GS

Hi all,
I have had an iPhone 3gs since Feb and it sync'd to my Windows laptop fine, but this laptop died recently and I could not deathorise the computer before it did. I now have a brand new iMac and have installed iTunes, it will recognise my iPhone and Sync's calender and contacts but it will not sync my App's from my as it says my iPhone has another default computer, I can see them in iTunes but they are grey'd out. Before my laptop died I restored it to factory settings so even if I could get into it iTunes is not on there anymore - any help appreciated in helping me be able to sync my app's will be appreciated! Iphone will sync itunes content to one and only one computer. When you sync to another it will erase the current itunes content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer.

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
For redownloading apps, look here for instructions. For songs, movies, and videos, if you don't have a backup of your purchased items and don't have them on another iOS device, you may be out of luck and will need to repurchase your content.
If you have your content on an iOS device, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis.

ITunes doesn't show updates for those Apps synchronized from iPhone

For example, if I download 3 apps through itunes, then download and install 2 apps on my iphone. After synchronizing the PC and iphone, both of them have 5 apps. Once all of them have updates available, the app store on my iphone can show 5 updates, but iTunes only shows 3 updates, it doesn't show updates for the other two apps. Is it a setting issue? please help me if anyone has answer. Thank you.
