i downloaded a song and when it finished, i put it on my itouch. i listened to the 3 minute song but only heard the first minute in song and the rest was silent. i also can't re-download it again because it won't let me. what do i do?

I downloaded an album and it shows up on all my devices but on my iPhone 5 there is the cloud icon on most of the songs but when I tap it nothing happens and I can't play the song. All the songs play on my iPad and MacBook. It seems like my iPhone will not let me download the rest of the songs, and I have 3.5 GB of remaining space. Help!

"The text you provide becomes the email address ([email protected]). An alias must contain between 3 and 20 characters."
This certainly implies that the alias is not required to be your registered name, and only becomes the prefix for a new @me.com address. There might be something going on with the servers right now as they are probably very focused on getting ready for the iPhone 5 pre-order release, which is supposed to happen any minute now. You might have better luck if you waited a while. -
I have garage band on my I pad and from what I can tell I have done everything right with the latest updates and icloud enabled on the i pad and app. A cloud is in the upper right corner of the song but when I look on my icloud drive on a internet browser on my PC it is not there. Any reason why?

Hi Trying to download CS5 Design Premium. We have a copy on the Mac and want to put a second copy on the Macbook pro. Can download the file but when it is clicked the file give an error message "User access denied" and dumps the download. It downloaded fine, but when I attempt to install it won't verify, saying that I am not connected to the internet when I know that I am! Tried on several wifi connections while plugged into power source. Any advice is appreciated!
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

I recently pre-ordered Ed Sheeran's "X Deluxe version" (or Multiply). He said he was releasing a song a day until the album was released. The most recent was Afire Love. The button where I should have "download" just has a clear button that says "pre-ordered". Shouldn't the song have already downloaded? How can I get the song without having to cancel my pre-order or getting charged for purchasing the song and the preorder?

Will the media file play with Quicktime Player? If it will then it's an iTunes issue. If it won't then you need to delete the file and download it a second time.

I logged into my Ipod touch 5 gen just to download sometime I already downloaded. My brother did some purchases on the Ipod, ( using my account) I kept getting emails on my phone saying an item was downloaded 3 times, so I kept getting multiple charges for each item. I do not know how that happend, because the credit ran out super super quick, and we didn't even download that much, why did it say I got multiple downloads.

I am trying to copy songs to an sd card for a digital photo frame. I changed my settings in iTunes to mp3 format before I downloaded them but it did not work. What am I doing wrong? Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value). You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads

The specific situation that you describe regarding the music imported from your friend's external HDD suggests that either the source is badly organized and/or originates from a source other than iTunes (other media players may use alternative tags for information like artist, title, album, etc. that are not wholly consistent with how iTunes handle these). Without details of the issues you're seeing it is difficult to suggest a remedy other than going through the media album-by-album, track-by-track, and correcting the inconsistencies.
In the absence of a backup or access to the original library data there is no option other than painstakingly recreating your library as described above. As you do so, you'll now realize how important creating and maintaining backups are - in my case I have at all times three separate duplicates of my library, in two different locations, where none is ever more than a week old compared to the content of my master library. -

Warning: If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and then forget your password, you will not be able to restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable. If you forget the password, you can continue to back up and use the device, however you will not be able to restore the encrypted backup to any device without the password. You do not need to enter the password for your backup each time you back up or sync.
If you cannot remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore, choose set up as a new device.
