I am trying to download the latest version of iTunes to my PC (windows XP) and I keep getting an error message or two. One is that it can't uninstall the previous itunes version, the other is that it can't find itunes.msi. I have tried removing the old version in add/remove programs, but it says the same error. I tried deleting every thing that has itunes in the file/folder/etc and it didn't help.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
I am currently running CS5, on windows. I can't open any raw format files in photoshop (I took some photos with a canon 5D mark 111). I went to updates tab to try to update cs5, but I keep getting download errors and am unable to update. Any ideas on how to fix this ? Trying to edit some wedding photo's I took.

I would restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod on your computer and start over. It appears the iPod is associated with another account. Any media that came with the iPod does not belong to you and di not transfer with the iPod hardware.

You may see one folder in there and that's the one you want. If you see more than one, look for the one with the most recently modified files. -

This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

I have recently fully updated my mac to 10.8.2 and i am trying to install a small facebook application but every time i come to chose the disk it says ' OS X facebook developer preview can not be installed on this disk. thanksThat may be the new Mountain Lion "sandbox" protective software kicking in, possibly, because ML "thinks" that App doesn't meet ML's new strict security requirements. A common phenomena. If you feel the 3rd party App is really OK, you can override this feature and install the new App by holding down the Command key when you click to install the new App. That's one possibility for the error message appearing. If not, another possibility is that that Developer Preview software package requires some previous piece of software be installed prior to downloading this Preview. You would have to check the Facebbok websiste's Developer Forums for help if this is the case.

I was Updating my Iphone 4s to iOS 6 through itunes. an error happended now iphone stuck on connect to itunes logo screen . tried tukrning on and of it connects but itunes does not recognize so i can restore .. any ideas?
Dont know if accidently fixed it or not i got it to be recogniced by itune im restoring it now. i held the power/sleep button till turned off. then while holding the home button under the screen connected it to the usb wire .. also i change the usb port i was using on my computer dont know if it was luck or what but glad i got my phone back.
