Hi, I'm taking a programming course in college and want to be able to compile my java programs at my home laptop instead of just at the lab...
However, when I write my code and try to compile with TextPad, there is no "Compile" option....Instead there is a grayed-out option of "User-tool"...
I have installed the J2SE Developmental Kit 5.0 Update 11 and the JavaRuntime Environment 5.0 Update 11....In the labs, the computers have the exact same thing except they are the Update 9 versions....
What am I missing? Thanks for any help you can offer....> TextPad isn't part of the JDK nor runtime of Java,

Pish. TextPad isn't an IDE. It's a feature-rich text editor that happens to let you run commands from within the program (though I don't argue with the benefit of compiling/executing from the CL when learning).

You're not confusing this with a shared Photo Stream...?
Because the short answer is no, photos don't appear unless they were put there by someone with your Apple ID credentials. To rule out that possibility, change your Apple ID password by carefully following all these instructions:
iCloud: Change your iCloud account password
If you decide to change your password, and you also want to change your Apple ID, I recommend you do not concurrently change your Apple ID until sufficient time has passed and you are confident the password change has been effected on all your iOS devices. 24 hours ought to be more than enough.
It is not necessary to change your Apple ID unless it is an email address you no longer wish to use. -
Need help PLEASE!!! Elements12 stopped reading SD card from internal reader

Thank you so much for reading this. I have done everything possible to fix this and it is still plaguing me. Got Elements 12 back when it first came out and it worked fine.
About a month ago, when I put the SD card in the internal card reader on my laptop, it automatically comes up and says this nasty little note that there is no program associated with the card reader.
I have gone under programs and the defaults and changed all of them to opend with Elements 12. Also went under the specific suffixes and put Elements 12 as the default program.
When I put the SD card in the computer, the autoreader comes up and asks what program I want to use for downloading the files. When I go down the list and pick Adobe Elements 12, that hateful X sound happens and then it says there is no program associated with..........
Have reloaded ALL the drivers on my computer and everything is up to date. The only thing that I can see is that it is due to the elements 12 program itself and I do not see where there is any way to repair the file WITHOUT screwing up my organizer that has over 40,000 photos on it.
Please any help would be so much appreciated.I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. The autoplay box automatically comes up with the Elements 12 box to select, but when I click on it, it gives that hateful noise and says "that there is no file associated with it and to go to default programs and associate it with one. When I go to the Default programs, it gives this list of stupid stuff like "Paint" whatever that is, and stuff I never use and there is no way to add Elements 12 or any other thing. Have right clicked, left clicked and everything else but nothing works.
How could I uninstall the entire program and not lose my organizer that has 40,000 photos and videos on there? I don't understand it.
And, also, I have to admit that I have no understanding whatsoever to understand the link that you so kindly gave me. Sorry to be such an idiot, but I'm a nurse, not a computer expert and guess it is pretty clear that I just don't understand it. My husband is an IT person but has no idea what to tell me because he has never worked with stuff like Elements or Photoshop, etc.
Any other suggestions that I could understand would be really appreciated. Am just so frustrated. -

You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -
How can I add a new Template to My Templates in Pages? I've read most of the discussions on the subject but it doesn't work for me. By the time I reach the Templates folder, I only see templates for Numbers and not for Pages. Need help, please. Thanks

puis configurez la recherche comme sur cette recopie d'écran.
puis lancez la recherche.
Ainsi, vous allez trouver vos modèles personnalisés dans leur dossier.
Chez moi, il y en a une kyrielle en dehors des dossiers standards parce que je renomme wxcvb.template quasiment tous mes documents Pages et wxcvb.nmbtemplate à peu près tous mes documents Numbers.
Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

Well it all started with Aperture 3 trying to import some photos from my iphone.It took ages to import those photos and like I was in a hurry to finish my work in Illustrator so I tryied to force quit on A3 and it didn´t, so I shut down the computer and started over.it was all ok but I uninstalled the A3 and the I realized the icons were back to original form and a few fonts changed.so I Installed the trial version of A3.I did a restart of the system and then there was.aperture lauching but no dock and a 80% of the icons disappeared, but the names of the files and folder remained.and I cand acces the apps from the apple sign on the left corner.I tried also restarting a few time but it´s always the same.I am a recent user of a mac , and please excuse my bad english.If this is in any way useful please help me!

My MBP didn't recognise my password, started it in safe mode, I can see my files, but I don't know what to do next, as the image of reset password isn't selectable. I just moved from PC. Need help please...
Safe mode is not what you want in this case. Reboot to recovery mode - hold down cmd-R as the Mac reboots. Go past the language-selection screen, click the Utilities menu, then Terminal. Type:
resetpassword
Followed by the return key, and follow the prompts. Reboot normally when done.

Reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up completely and then try again. -
