HT1725 iTunes download issues

My music didn't download. Now the iTunes program won't open. And the Support site says my browser isn't supported, even though it's the latest version of IE. How do I contact support and get my music?

Hi,

  • HT1725 iTunes download issue

I attempted to download Bill Burr and had to interrupt the process.  Now I can't restart the download process as I keep getting an error -50 message.  Payment was posted and I do have a partial download in my "Movies" but it won't plan and is only 12 of approx 58 min.  Please help.

Perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023"section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

  • ITUNES DOWNLOAD ISSUES regular definition vs. hd  - RENO, NV

    Machine: Ipod Touch Gen 1
Problem: Itunes download of shows that are offered in both regular, and HD format
Issue: As my Ipod Touch Gen 1 does not have HD capabilities, I find that when I
select the regular definition show, and download it, after download all
of a sudden like a Jack in the Box the HD version pops up for download
even though it WAS NOT SELECTED. The frustrating part is, its like
a bad horror movie, everytime its stopped and deleted it comes back to
haunt you again, and again, and again LOL

I kind of figured that was the case but if in fact it's on Apples end they need to fix it because it's then not really video on demand service if you have to wait 12 hours to download a movie you want to watch.. I even watched the movie while it was downloading and you would get to point you could not watch anything more because the part you needed to download was not downloaded. It's frustrating given it should be a no-brainer download a movie to watch....

  • Itune download issue

I tried to update itunes and actually deleted it.  I'm trying to re-download it and when I do the web page thanks me for downloading however nothing has happed.  Does anyone have any ideas?

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

  • ITunes Downloading Issue for iPhone Update 4.3

    Hey,
I have an iPhone 4, and I'm running a MacBook Pro on Snow Leopard. For the past three hours, I've been trying to update my iPhone 4 to 4.3, and halfway through each update, iTunes disconnects the download, and I try to resume the download, but it won't pick up from the original point. It just restarts the download rather than resume. I have a pretty mediocre connection as it stands, but I can get this downloaded in a timely manner. I'm just wondering why it won't resume and restarts instead more than anything.
    Any answers are much appreciated!

    Hi,

Not sure exactly what you mean by mediocre but once the connection is dropped then the download has to start from scratch.
Try restarting your iPhone and your Mac. Then try updating to 4.3
It may not be your connection but your MacBook (Pro?) unless you were able to resolve the kernel panic issue here: http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11001688#11001688

  • HT1725 Itunes download failure

I downloaded a song and the download completed but when I play the song it stops afer 30 seconds when the song is 3:39 long. I believe my internet connection was messed up so how can I get the full song without re purchasing it?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

  • Interrupted iTunes Download issue

This evening I purchased a tv episode from iTunes through my iPod touch while away from home using a wifi connection. I had to leave the wifi area with only about 75% of the episode downloaded. The download stopped and the episode selection became grayed out so that I could not select the episode.
When I got home and synched with my computer, it redownloaded the episode from the beginning and the download completed, no problem.
However, the original interrupted download is STILL on the iPod. I now have two copies of the episode. I tried removing all videos to see if it would delete, but it removed everything except the incomplete download.  It's grayed out so I can't even touch it or select it. Now it's just kind of sitting there using up memory.
    Any suggestions?

SAME it happend to me today it made me sooooo madd!! I'm about to pull up the apple phone book and lell at them

  • HT1725 iTunes download was interrupted using iPad 2

My movie download was interrupted.  I ended up having to delete the movie from my iPad and started over, but now there is not enough memory available to resume the download.  I've cleared it from movies in settings, and resumed using various methods.  Help!

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.

    Thx

Are you running Lion (or Mountain Lion)?
If so, try relaunching iTunes in 32-bit mode before trying to view the shows, as per the instructions in the following document:
iTunes for Mac: Older media files may require iTunes to reopen in 32-bit mode

  • HT1725 iTunes download problems..

I have recently downloaded an album from iTunes and 3 or 4 of the tracks are incomplete. Can anyone let me know how I rectify this plesase?

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days, I assume that there has been a problem with Apple's servers.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

  • HT1399 itune download issues

I have purchased several songs from itunes and they download easily. I have a few songs that will not download. they show up on my playlist like they are there but when I try to play them they skip to the next song so just wont play at all. any suggestions?

You posted in the iTunes for Windows forum so I thought you were downloading them on your computer.
If they have a cloud then they are purchases that are not currently on your device but are available for download. If you are not connected to WiFi then they will be downloaded via your cellular data connection.

  • HT201272 iPad iTunes download issues

I have purchased some tv episodes to watch on a plane journey.  They are appearing in my iTunes purchases.  When I press the cloud download button, the download begins and gets to the end, processes & then disappears & nothing appears in the downloads? Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you so much, what an idiot, I didn't even think to look there! Just assumed they would stay in the 'downloaded' section like they do in the iplayer. I don't use the iPad for music so it didn't occur to me to look somewhere else! Now i understand why all my memory was being used up too as i downloaded them all loads of times! Doh! Thanks for your help!

  • HT1349 itunes download issues

I have just transferred my itunes account to my new computer (not a mac/ipad), but the songs I have downloaded to my iphone do not sync to my ipod - they show on itunes as icloud. Any ideas?

When you transfer your account to a new computer - that doesn't transfer your purchased content. That just authorizes you to use your iTunes content on the computer. It is up to you to get the music back into your iTunes library.
If the songs are showing in iCloud, download them into iTunes and then sync them to the iPod.
You can also transfer the purchased songs into iTunes from the phone and then sync them to the iPod. This explains how to do it.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
