You could try deleting and then re-downloading the app via the Purchased tab in the App Store app and see if it then works (re-downloading).
And/or you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Try closing the iTunes App from the recently used App list: Double Click the Home button to bring it up. Find the Music icon there and tap and hold it until it begins to wiggle and the red shows up in the corenr of it. Tap it to close it down entirely.
Tap the home button again to exit the Recently used App list. Try opening it again.
If that doesn't help, try resetting the iPad by holding down the home and powerr buttons until the Silver Apple Logo shows up. Ignore the "Slide to Shutdown" prompt if it appears.

The obvious way to resolve this on a computer would be to uninstall the app, then reinstall it, however on an iOS device that would cause all the data assoicated with the app to be thrown away.
Make sure your iTunes library has the latest updates for all your apps, then backup and restore the device. This should pull back a fresh copy of the app from your iTunes library and then give it the data from your device backup.

Try:
Reset the iOS device (no data will be lost). Press and hold the Home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears. See if the problem persists after the device reboots (it might take a while).
Download any free app, and then see if any of the other apps, after being re-downloaded, will open.

I had the same issue. After searching around online I found out that you can try downloading another app (it can be any app) onto your ipod. After it finishes downloading see if your other apps open. You don't even have to keep the new app. Just see if your other ones work and you can delete the new one. That should work. If not, try to hard reset it. Here is another apple support link for steps on hard reseting it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430).

Adobe reader 6.0 app won't open because PowerPC apps are no longer supported

I can no longer open .pdf files on my newer imac which is over 3 yrs. old, This issue seemed to have started sometime after updating to icloud & Lion?? on this imac but for some reason, I do not have the same problem on my other imac that is running the same Lion v. 10.7.2 which is over 4 yrs. old. I can see that the older imac is running Adobe Reader 9.4.6 and opens .pdf files.
Here is the error message I get on my newer imac:

I don't remember if or when I started having this problem on the newer imac but it use to open .pdf files. Nor can I find any reference to ANY Adobe Reader version other than 6.0 on this computer, Even after several tries and downloading off the Adobe web site using Safari.
I have made several attempts to download off the adobe web site using safari which shows it is downloading the app. but cannot find it anywhere on my computer's HD or Desktop even when using Spotlight to search for it.
In fear of screwing up my new 17" MBP which arrived yesterday I have not attempted to transfer any info/files/data off of my other imacs due to they info dating back to the PowerPC days that transfered during switching to newer mac models.

I have tried several times to update the Intel Mac verision of adobe but cannot find where it was downloaded to on my computer.   When I do a search on my computer, the only version that is found is the old 6.0 Power PC which is no longer supported.

If it is the third party apps crashing - try downloading another app - any free app is fine. See if that resets the other apps.

Try quitting it completely by double tapping the homebutton twice and closing the app at the bottom of the screen. If this doesn't help:
Try deleting the problematic app and then re-downloading the app from the app store.
You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option which is revealed by tapping the updates option at the bottom of the screen of the App store app on your iOS device.

Apps won't open

Someone has gone wrong with my Z10 and now any "android related" apps that i download, i.e. songza, kobo, etc. won't open. When I click on them they simply exit. I have tried EVERYTHING and am getting very frustrated. I have the OS 10.1.04651. Please help!

Blackberry simply doesn't care. They don't provide any info on how to solve this problem. I'm trying to solve this problem too. All apps won't open even when i restart the phone. Next time i won't recommend purchasing blackberry and just say to buy an iphone, at least it has far more support for any kind of problem.

Did you try downloading another app? Any free app will work. Try downloading another app and then see if the other apps will open.
