My iPad is frozen with a message on the screen that says "iCloud backup is full" and it gives me the option of cancel or settings but will not go to either one or allow me to exit the message. How can I restart? It will not let me turn off or doesn't help to plug into computer
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.
Data will not be affected. -
My Ipad has locked itself up and is posting the followning message: iCloud Backup This iPad has not been backed up for 2 weeks.... I've plugged it in, it should be connected to rgour home wi-fi, but I cant get the message to go away when I push OK. I cant get it to do anything. It is fully charged, but I can't even turn it off (won't let me), Just continues to post the iCloud Backup message.

I have problem with my IPAD2, there is meesage that IPAD hasn;t been backed up in 1 weeks. Backups happen when this IPAD is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi. And then I press OK below those message, but nothing happen and can't do anything too. I push start button, they appear but still "can't reach them". Anybody knows how to fix it back to normal?
Go to Settings, iCloud, and then Storage and Backup. You will then see a button to backup your iPad. It may be that you have much stuff (i.e. photos, apps) for it to do a full backup but you will be able to tell what the estimated backup should be and what it will consist of so that you can choose to prune down items. If you don't want to backup and get rid of the messages you can just turn backup off from this area as well.

What do yoou do when your iPad freezes up. My iPad is plugged in each night and is connected to Wi-Fi. This morning the following message appears:
iCloud Backup
"This iPad hasn't been backed up in 6 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi."
I press OK and it does not budge. I try to power off. The red arrow appears but it does not slide to power off. The iPad has simply frozen on the home page.
MikeTry resetting it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then releasing. You won't lose any data by doing this.

I have this message on my iPad and the device hungs. I cannot do anything with it, including powering off.
"This Ipad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happens when this Ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi."
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?
Many thanks/JeremyThe system error basically should lead to the culprit of your issue. iCloud will ONLY automatically back-up to the cloud if all of the following are met:
1) iDevice is plugged in to the wall outlet/power source.
2) iDevice is connected to a WiFi network; iCloud does not back up over 3G/DATA networks to limit the data caps on most carries nowadays.
3) iDevice has been locked and innactive - usually takes place when one is sleeping.
Make sure all three of these are in fact in effect. If you are noticing that it has gone 2+ weeks unable to backup automatically, I would recommend navigating to the iCloud settings panel on your iPad.
Tap on Settings -> iCloud
On this screen I would advise for you to scroll all the way to the bottom and selete Delete Account.
*THIS WILL NOT DELETE YOUR BACKUPS, JUST REMOVE THE ACCOUNT ASSOCIATION FROM YOUR iPAD**
After this has gone through, sign back into iCloud and manually do a backup by selecting Storage & Backup and scrolling down to select the Back Up Now option. Once this is complete, use your iPad as you would. Over the course of the next few days, go back to where that Back Up Now option was and below it you will see when the last backup was done. This should be changing almost daily if the mentioned measures earlie in my response have been met.
Should this not solve your problem then due let me know. But to my knowledge, this has solved my iCloud issues with my iPhone 4S and my iPhone 5. -
I got this message on my iPad: "This iPad hasn't been backed up in 4 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi." So I plugged it in and locked it. Already connected to Wi-Fi. Leftit that way all night. Nothing happened. Still the same message. Can't even unlock. So now I can't use my iPad at all. HELP!!

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
My ipad has the message-This ipad hasn't been backed up in two weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to wi-fi. I press ok and nothing happens. I have it locked, plugged into wall, and conected to wi-fi. How do I get it past ok?

I get this message. "iCloud Backup. This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backup happens when this iPad is plugged in, locked and connected to Wi-Fi. When I hit OK nothing happens. My iPad is locked on this message.
If you're still having this problem, reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

The following message appeared on my iPAD:
"This iPad hasn't been backed up in 6 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi". This is strange because the iPad is plugged in each night and automatically connects to Wi-Fi.
Now even though I press OK nothing is happening. It seems to have gone into a freeze mode. I tried to switch off the iPad but it would not allow the red arrow to "slide to power off". What can be done to rectify the problem? You be sure the iphone is plugged in, locked and connected to wifi. Then a backup will be attempted. Or, you can manually do a backup inside...
Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, turn on iCloud backup and tap the Manual button. -

I am a novice user of an iPad3. My iPad is currently frozen. The only things appearing on the screen are two identical message boxes:
"iCloud Backup
This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi."
Please help me figure out how to get this resolved, as the device is now totally immobilized.Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I opened my IPad and it shows a box titled "ICloud Backup" and says this IPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this Ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi. Then there is a box that says OK. When push the box nothing happens. My IPad is completely frozen. What can I do to get it out of this frozen state?

I have an IPad 2 and when I woke it up it gave me an error message on the desktop: "iCloud backup: This IPad hasn't been backed up in 3 weeks. Backups happen when this IPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi." I have done all of these and it still doesn't allow me to get rid of the error message. I even connected the IPad to the computer and attempted to back it up using the Web but it still doesn't get rid of the message. Help!
Reset your iPad to clear that condition:
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
