HT1766 I have an iphone 5 and I keep getting pop ups asking for my voicemail password and it is so annoying.
I have an iphone 5 and I keep getting pop ups asking for my voicemail password. How do i get rid of it?
Contact your carrier and have them re-set your voice mail password. Once they do, you should only have to enter it once. Then you won't be prompted again.

I accidentally erased my keychain passwords, how can I replace it? ( I was in the keychains folder on the password link when i pressed delete). I thought I was deleting one account but it deleted everything. I now keep getting pop-ups asking me for a keychain password...which I don't remember ever creating.
Try running Keychain Access/First Aid and resetting the original keychain.

During my use of my iPhone, a box pops up intermittently asking for my voicemail password. It then says "incorrect password." It IS the correct password. What can I do to stop this?
Contact your wireless provider, have them reset your password, and try again.

Safari keeps sending Pop-ups asking to add newsgroups to Shared Links. VERY ANNOYING!
Every 20-25 minutes I get a series of pop-ups from Safari asking if I want to add various newsgroups to my Shared Links. It is incredibly annoying and I have to click every single popup to continue to use Safari. Should I just switch to Google Chrome or Firefox or is there a way to stop this madness???
(I've tried a few things in Preferences, but to no avail!)
MikeYou most likely installed adware along with something else you recently installed.
You can either follow Apple's manual instructions for removing it, or use the free automated tool, AdwareMedic. -
I use G4 MacIntosh, System 10.5.8. I keep getting pop-ups asking me to upgrade my version of Firefox. But when I try to install I get the message that Firefox cannot operate with my computers architecture. How can I stop the pop-ups?
I believe Firefox 4 is Intel only. That means it will not install on a PPC Mac. You can get TenFourFox, which is made for PPCs.

I keep getting pop ups to enter apple Id and password
I keep getting pop ups to enter apple I'd and password
Do NOT click on popups or webpages offering updates to Firefox.
You appear to be posting from something other than Firefox (Internet Explorer ?)
Are you able to post a screenshot, it is probably a scam.
* [[How do I create a screenshot of my problem?]] <br /> (Please use a .jpeg or .png type compressed image; not some massive high resolution bitmap)
(Note AFAIK Firefox is soon to start a campaign to upgrade outdated versions but even that will be through the ordinary Firefox interface not through popups)
Please see

I know my apple id and password but my new iphone 5 is asking for a voicemail password and I dont know what that is. Can I disable this?
The voicemail password is independent from Apple/your iPhone and is related to your service provider. If you already set a password for your voice mailbox, you would need to input it in order to access your voice messages associated with your cell-phone plan. If you forgot your voice-mail password or did not set one, I'd advise you to simply call your cell-service provider support which should quickly resolve the issue.

That is the activation lock. Your iPad will be useless unless you can remove it.

I keep getting pop ups that say my subscription has expired? I have paid and have credit because this has happened before and i paid 3 times. Can I just buy a download instead of paying a monthly subscription?
We often find this happens when the wrong software gets run (so the subscription doesn't apply).
So,to start with what exactly is your subscription for - please check your account details and confirming email? -
I can't set up my new Ipad using new Apple ID and it keeps showing the notification that wrong email or password and try again. I can log in Itune with the same ID. Please help me if you have come across the same issue. Thank you!

Keeps asking for my hotmail password and saying its wrong stopped recieving mail
keeps asking for my hotmail password and have stopped recieving mail
Mail asks for your password when it cannot contact the Server. It presumes [usually incorrectly] you told it the wrong password, and asks for a better one. The one you enter replaces the one that is stored.
But often the reason it cannot connect is that the Mail Server holding your emails is temporarily DOWN.
Ignore those requests and take that account Online again later.
(You may have to re-enter the password, because it often clobbers your good password with the one you enter, and sometimes does not store ANY password after that stupid dialog box.) -
i had a virus warning for my macbook pro. ran anti virus software but nothing was detected. however i keep getting pop ups.

You Mac does not have any viruses as there are no viruses for MacOSX. What you have a malware scam. Did you download MacDefender, or MacProtector? To get rid of them, open activity monitor and look for the process MacDefender, or MacProtector, double click the process and force quit. Go to system preferences to accounts, login items and remove MacDefender, or MacProtector by highlighting it and hitting the minus sign. Go to your applications folder and drag MacDefender or MacProtector to the trash. Open finder and do a search for Macdefender or MacProtector trash any related files. Do the same with a Spotlight search, it is the little magnyfing glass far top right in the menubar. Lastly, go open finder, select your user folder, go to library then loo in aoplication support and remove MacDefender or Mac Protector from there, close that folder then go to preferences and remove any preference file for MacDefender or MacProtector. Hope this helps.
