By 'tried every suggestion' you mean ... ?
If it says 'open' in the App Store then that implies that it's still installed on your iPad - I assume that it still says 'open' after doing what Meg suggested. Does it appear on your iPad's multitasking bar, and if so have you tried closing it via that and seeing if it works when you re-open it ?
To close an app via the multitasking bar : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Candy Crush app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.

    I've been using Firefox for a long time with a great pleasure of course. I've got today the same problem as you: my profile can't be loaded, missing or inaccessible. I tried all solutions but it was not OK.
    Finally, as yesterday I've played with hiddens files in my home directory, I noticed that my "/home/myuser/.cache" was marked with a little padlock: it was access protected. So I just execute:
    '''sudo chown myuser /home/myuser/.cache -R '''
    and now Firefox is working fine.

    It isn't the installation of the Adobe Download Assistant which can cause this problem it is where you select to download the install files too.  The Adobe Download Assistant would be installed to your Program Files/Applications folder and install files would be downloaded to your user folder, by default, or your desktop.
    Alternately you can intitate a direct download by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

    Conversion Log ends with "flattening 3gpp files, removing j2k files...An error was encountered in the sqlite database: unable to open database file
    conversion log: Conversion Failed.

    Log says “unable to convert SQLite db” and then “Conversion failed”. This is before it does anything with specific images.  The line right before the above is “gpp files flattened . . .” which I believe are sound files

    I just found this....and it works....and it's legit.
    1.     Reboot computer or use Activity Monitor to force quit any prior Adobe Flash installation process that may be still running
    2.     Download Adobe Flash update using this link (assuming you are using Safari or Firefox): Flash Player for Safari and Firefox - NPAPI 
    3.     Mount flash player by clicking on flash drive icon on desktop
    4.     Right click on Flash file
    5.     Choose 'Show Package Contents'
    6.     Open 'Contents' then 'Resources'
    7.     Run file 'Adobe Flash Player.pkg'
    8.     Reboot computer.

    If your Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons, you have to contact Apple Support. Only the Account Security Team can activate it again. See this webpage on how to contact Apple Support in your country: There are either telephone numbers given or an email form:

    When adding music to iTunes, you can set it to either make a local copy of the file, or simply point to the original location of the file (for example, on an external hard drive). If it is set to do the latter, it will not be able to play or transfer those files when the external hard drive is not plugged in. You may find the following article helpful:

    You are using File->Add File (or Folder) to Library, right?
    Make sure that you also look at the various categories of content stored on the library:  turn on the sidebar (Ctrl+S keys toggle) and click the categories to see if the content shows in the content window of iTunes.
    It could be you are trying to add a video/movie in a format iTunes does not accept because it cannot play it or work with it.  (And yes, if iTunes cannot add it to the library, it should absolutely report an error message rather than leave you wondering and drop the command.)

    When I go to sync my iphone 3gs itunes alerts me that an update is available. I check to download an update. I then receive an error message stating that I am not connected to the internet. I am 100% positive that I am connected and before this download I was instructed to update itunes which I did without any problems and restarted my computer. I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions. I have no problem syncing or using the itunes store. I just can't get the update. I also have no problems with my iphone connecting to a wireless internet connection. Please Help!!!!!!

    Is there a real fix? I can't get imessage to work? I have tried all fixes listed? Ipad works fine sin iOS update, just issue with iPhone 5 and iOS 7.2?

    This is a user forum.  Why would you ask a question that only Apple could provide the answer?
    FYI, I'm having no issues with the battery on my iDevice with iOS 7, nor does anyone I know.  Don't hold your breath waiting for a fix to an issue that probably doesn't iexist.  Have you bothered to read through the forums and try the recommendations provided to extend the battery life?

  • I have tried several ways to delete the cookies listed in options and nothing works to get rid of them.

    I have tried all of the methods to delete the cookies that are suggested on your support site. I have tried them if the selection in Options is for cookies allowed and with cookies not allowed. Also with 3rd party cookies allowed and not allowed. Normally, I have it set at cookies allowed but 3rd party cookies not allowed.
    I have tried CCleaner, Euslings Cleaner, Auglogics Cleaner, Wise Cleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, and WinPatrol, plus deleting the temp files in Windows. All that software cleans out cookies. I also have Spyblaster set to protect against hundreds of tracking cookies. It was SuperAntiSpyware that brought the problem to my attention in the first place. It just started doing it approximately a few weeks ago but only the passed several days have I been working hard to get those cookies deleted. There must be a couple hundred of them. I did manage to delete about 5 or 6 of them but the others won't budge. I want to clean them all at and start from scratch and monitor them on a daily basis. I don't want most of them. SuperAntiSpyware claims it deletes them but when I go to Options in the browser they are still there. SuperAntiSpyware claims the cookies are there every time I run the program before shutting down the computer.
    I just added that Troubleshooter and looked at information. I'm sorry but I'm not understanding anything. I'm not that computer savvy.

    You may have installed an extension that adds so called opt-out cookies to Firefox.<br />
    Such opt-out cookies are send instead of the normal cookies and you can't remove such opt-out cookies unless you disable or uninstall the extension.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Stuck at "accessing itunes store" have tried all suggestions so far and nothing has worked..

    when i open itunes i am infinetly stuck at "accessing itunes store" during which it will not allow me to authorize my computer, sign in, etc. . So far i have tried restarting my computer, cmd command, re-install, unistall qucik time player/safari, reset router. i am not sure what else there is to do for this problem. none of the other threads have helped me at all. what else is there to do to fix this?

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
    If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • HT203164 have tried all suggestions on how to manage settings to be able to burn a cd/ no luck..

    have tried these settings and no luck burning with itunes. it says somthing about having more than 1 burning software to select one but i dont have any idea on how to figure out this question and to change settings. i have windows media and VSL Media Player if this helps.

    Have you tried all of these?
    1. Pressing the Eject key while opening the iMac.
    2. Pressing the Eject key while closing down the iMac.
    3. Holding down the Option key while restarting the iMac.
    4. Using Disk Utility to try to Mount, Repair and Eject the disk.
    5. Holding down the Mouse while restarting the iMac.
    6. Pressing the O and F keys while closing down the iMac.
    7. Opened Applications > Utilities >Terminal and typed in 'drutil tray eject'.
