My iPad was disconnected for a second or two and won't continue backup
Try resetting your iPad. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.

I have been purchasing songs from itunes for the past year. I have over 100 songs. I recently got a new computer and I synched the iphone to it. I can't find 90% of my music. Where is it and how can I get it back? I checked itunes under purchased and it only shows 13 songs. Please help.
You can only sync with one computer. When you synced to the new computer it would have erased it and synced what was on the new computer.
You always need to have a backup, an iPhone is not a storage device.
When you get a new computer you need to transfer your library before syncing
If you don't have a backup you may be out of luck
The only thing would be if you're in the US and have access to the iCloud beta to reload purchases

I just bought a movie and a season of childrens cartoons they are now gone off my ipad. Where are they and how can I get them back?
Did you download them direct to your IPad or to your computer. If so unless you have synced your iPad with your computer since you downloaded they are still on your Ipad unless you deleted them or if they were rentals the time ran out.
To check on your iPad launch the iPod APP on your Ipad if a movie listing does not show then click on the iPad button under your library list column and it should then show your movies etc
Or launch the Video App and look for them there
if you have downloaded them on your computer they will show up in iTunes the cartoons i suspect will show under TV and the Movie under Movies.
A rented item expires 30 days after you rent it or 24 hours after you begin playing it, whichever comes first. Expired rentals are deleted automatically. After you transfer a rental to your iPad etc, it is removed from your iTunes library.
Outright puchases are obviously yours to keep.

If it's no longer in the store then you won't be able to re-download it - do you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes (or on a backup) that you could sync back to your phone ?

For no reason, my 3GS display just zoomed in (enlarged) and I can't get it back to normal view. I restored the phone back to factory settings and the normal view restored, however when it synced it zoomed in again. help!

IPad suddenly asking for password, when I removed the requirement 2 weeks ago. I can't get in. Help!
My iPad suddenly is asking for an Exchange password when I removed the password requirement completely several weeks ago, and it's been working fine without one. Additionally, it never recognizes the password when I do set one. I record it on a sticky note and leave it in my iPad, so there's no mistake. Now I can't get past the password box. Help!
This tends to happen when you add a Microsoft email or some other email that requires the user to automatically change your simple 4 digit "Simple" passcode to a more complicated passcode.
Just enter your 4 digit passcode and enter in a new complicated passcode.
you can then have the ability to remove the Microsoft Exchange email and switch back your passcode settings to simple passcode.

The YouTube app is not included in iOS 6. You will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version), or try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)

The "verisign" logo for secured sites is missing from the status/addon bar. How can I get it back?
Whenever I used to sign it to ebay, the "verisign" logo would show red/unsecured. A refresh of the page would reload with a secure setting.
I can no longer see the logo anywhere but refresh out of habit anyway hoping it is then secure on the next load.
If the logo showed for any other sites/pages I wouldn't know.

If you were using an add-on from Verisign, its icon might be on the Add-ons toolbar. You can turn that on using:

Problems with iTunes Plus in Canada?
As the subject suggests, I'm in Canada. I can open the iTunes store, no problem but when I try to connect to iTunes Plus from the Quick Links portion of the iTunes store, I get an error saying "Could not complete iTunes Store request. The store may b
