I entered the wrong passcode too many times and now my iPhone is disabled. What can I do to retrieve the passcode?

At my school we use iPads for all our work etc. However, the idiots in my form grabbed my iPad and googled ****, which got me kicked off the school Wi-Fi of course. To stop this happening again, i put a passcode lock on, but now it amuses them to continually enter the wrong password which disables it, and then I cannot use it in lessons and I can't get access to my notes etc. This is really affecting my performance at school and the teachers are lazy idiots who wont do anything about it. Is there any way to stop this other than jailbreaking my iPad, or killing them?
So what exactly do you propose I do when i'm trying to work on it in a class, and then the iPad is wrenched out of my hands by my ‘pleasant group of peers’? (I’ll refrain from using the term ‘Idiots in my form’ seeing as you know them so well, and are therefore able to pass judgment on their general conduct.) With regards to your comment about showing respect to my elders, I usually do, however if a teacher chooses to allow the children in their conduct to do whatever they please, and cause as much trouble as possible, I will refer to them as lazy, because their behaviour as a teacher equates to the definition of lazy (1 unwilling to work or use energy: he was too lazy to cook. 2 characterized by lack of effort or activity: they were enjoying a really lazy holiday. 3 showing a lack of care). Also, i’d like to emphasize that my poor performance is a DIRECT result of my the iPad being disabled. That would be because ALL of my work is on there, along with all of my textbooks and most of the other educational tools that we use. It may be easy for you to slam me for sounding like a whiny little ****, however imagine if all of your learning material was routinely removed from your person in a lesson, and you had to work with others, and make notes, which you will later have to type up, during valuable revision or homework time. After all of that disagreement with you, I do accept that I shouldn’t threaten to kill people, however I would like to stress that you may need to reassess your sense of humor, as you have obviously failed to detect that I was making a light hearted joke. I am sure that I do not possess the physical and metal requirements in order to kill someone.

Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on. -
i have a ipod and the passcode was entered to many times it is tellin me to connect to itunes but when i connected it to itunes it says the ipod is locked so it cant do anything until it is unlocked
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

You didn't say what you have already tried, but if you haven't already done so, power-cycle your router (unplug it for 15 seconds then plug it back in), then on your phone go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Reset Network Settings, then try joining your wifi again.

What can I do to unlock the IPAD if I cannot access the device by using computer? When I connect to computer, it says I have to unlock the IPad to connect to itunes.
I try everything but I cannot figure out what to do. I turn off IPAD and it still stay in the connect to Itunes mode. It does not goes back to wait mode.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Seems simple right? Hook up to a computer and restore and bypass disable screen? NOPE. Everytime I tried to connect it to iTunes it gives me a lovely message that says something to the effect of " cannot sync to itunes because passcode needs to be entered on iPad" but the iPad mini says it is disabled so I am getting the total run around from this devil spawned tech.
I tried to also restore it in recovery mode like someone suggested but it still said the same thing. The person said if I followed instructions it would not do that. Well, it did. Here is exactly what I did:
Itunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes". and the iPad mini has the itunes logo with the USB cord and an arrow on it on the screen. I clciked ok on the computer to shut that message off.
On iTunes it says "Ipad recovery mode. Your software is up to date. Click check for updatr to see if new software is available." The check fo update button is grayed out and the Restore iPad button is available to click. I click on "restore iPad" and a pop up says "Are you sure you want to restore the ipad to its factory settings? All of your media and other data will be erased, and the newest version of the ipad software installed. Itunes will verify the restore with Apple. After this prcess is complete, you will have the option to restore your contact, calendars, text messages, and other settings."
I clicked on "restore and update" and it shows a box with software update 7.0.4 and I click on next. I accept the user agreement and it starts to download the ipad software update.
I wait for the update to install and as I am waiting a box pops up that says "itunes could not connect to the ipad because it is locked with a passcde. You must enter your passcode on the ipad before it can be used with itunes" and it gives me the option to click more information, try again, and cancel.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
iPad,iPod,iPod Touch Recovery Mode
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

If you cannot manage any of the above then:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
