HT1766 My iPod is disabled and I don't have iCloud or iTunes back up, what do I do?
I changed my passcode and when I went to get back into my iPod it would let me. I tried up until it read 'iPod is disabled connect to iTunes'. I don't have any back up on iCloud or iTunes and never synced before, what should I do?

I really need a good answer anything I can do btw its a second hand purchase and is there any home remedies, ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!
By the way, seal the rice bag with the ipod in it if you do it that way. But, I would let it dry for several days. If it was completery submerged I would blow more air on it. Only thing I would be afraid of is if water hasn't already gotten to the internal components, that the air might force it farther up. If it's not working, I would definitely blow the air on it.

My Ipod is disable and it tells me to connect to itunes to stop disabling it. What do I do? How do I connect to Itunes?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Okay, so somebody stole my Ipod, 4th generation, and it don't have IOS 7, it has IOS 6.1.4, and apparently I was tracking it with police officers this morning and when I get home from school (now, 4:26) it appears that it's offline and I can't see the location no more, so my question is... Can they still find out where is it located?
Your carrier might be able to locate it if it's on their network and they are ordered to do so by the police or the courts. It can't be tracked with Find My iPhone if it's offline.

Hi I've just lost my iphone and I don't have Icloud is there anyway to redeem my contacts
Hi I've just lost my iphone and I don't have Icloud is there anyway to redeem my contacts
You have a few options...
1. Hopefully you have done a backup in iTunes which would have stored your contacts
2. Check the email account that you had on the iPhone. For instance with Gmail there is a Sync Contacts option on the iPhone which if turned on, would have sent your contacts from your phone to the contacts in your Gmail, so check your email from a computer to see if they are there.
3. Only other option I can think of is if you have an old phone with contacts still on it. -

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone and use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.

I have a macbook pro and i reformat my laptop. I don't have many of the appictons or even icloud no more. How do I get all these back in?
Your signature says you have 10.6.8 - is this correct? There is no iCloud on 10.6.8 - if you had upgraded to Lion, but then reformatted and used the disks which came with your Mac you would have installed an older system, presumably 10.6.8? You will need to go through the upgrade process again to get Lion, so that you can access iCloud.
As to the apps, those which were not part of the installed system (such as Mail, Safari, etc.) will have to be reinstalled either from the original installers or a backup, and your actual files will have to be restored from a backup. -
