    Hi hannijin,
What version of the Mac OS X do you have on your computer?  The version of iTunes that you can install is dependent on the operating system that you have.  For example, the current version of iTunes requires OS X version 10.7.5 or later.

  • HT1386 error message 1140 when syncing new iphone 5

Everytime I sync my iphone to my computer I receive error message 1140  which says my iphone cannot be synced

On iTunes un-select sync photos and then apply.  Next click on sync.  That should allow a sync to occur.  Now go back and try to do a sync with photos selected.  Appy first then Sync.

You can use an external drive with LR but I recommend only using it for
image file storage while keeping your catalog on your internal HD for
performance. If you moved files outside of LR (Finder or Explorer) you will
have to clue LR in on where they are now. Use the left-hand folder panel in
Library mode to navigate to the location on your external drive and use the
find photo option get LR to reconnect them. If you moved the catalog and
now LR can't find it you should get a window allowing you to select a new
one where you can navigate to the new location and select it. You can also
just start LR by clicking on the Lightroom 5 catalog.lrcat file to open it
    and start LR.

  • Sync Error message reprocessing in MI server

In MI 2.5 server, all sync error messages with staus I-Error need to be resolved manually and then reprocessed.
Errors are generally data issues(Equipment type mismatch etc).
In MI 7.1 , there are better data monitoring and administration capabilities. Is there a better automated way in MI 7.1 where by some of the I-Error status messages could be corrected and reprocessed based on some defined logic and rules.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
custom services plugged-in in the message flow can be used to correct the fields of the message during the processing.
Since your requirement is to modify the message only incase of errors and during re-processing, the custom service has to be a little more intelligent than just modifying the data ..like reading from DOE monitoring data to figure out whether that message failed and is being re-started which is possible as far as i think.
In tcode sdoe_wb on selection of your SCV.,expand the data object and inturn the flow definition tree. Choose the flow where you wish to add a custom service. Press create button in right panel. Give FM or class method. Save it and generate your data object. The message body and the message header is available as parameters in the custom service , there are some specific places where a write service could to be placed and so on..
You can also refer the sample custom service SDOE_SAMPLE_CUSTOMSERVICE class shipped by SAP.

  • Sync error message: CRRecurringl: SetRecurringDates Start date is invalid

Sync error message: CRRecurringl: SetRecurringDates Start date is invalid
I have deleted and re-entered every recurring calendar entry. This has not solved the problem.
I sync on 2 computers. The deskop computer using BB Desk Top 7.0 syncs fine. The laptop using BB Desk Top 7.1 does not sync. 2.5 hours wasted.
    any other suggestions.?
    BB 9900 7.0 bundle 2406

    desktop version 7.1.0.37

I have just learned that that error message is generated by an appointment in your BlackBerry Calendar with a recurring start date prior to 01/01/1900. So, either delete all BlackBerry Calendar items and resync or find the one entry that has a date before 1900.

  • HT1414 I am unable to sync iTunes or iPhoto.  I get error message 1140.

I have a new iPhone 5.  I am unable to sync iTunes or iPhoto to it.  I get an error message every time "iPhone cannot be synced.  Unknown Error 1140".  I'm using OS 10.8.2 and IOS 6.  Does anyone know if there is a fix on the way from Apple for this?

Download and install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update, which was just released today. It may be the answer to your problems:

  • HT1386 unable to sync my ipad2   receive an error message 1140 (unknown error)  HELP..don't want to have to go to the apple store to be able to sync my ipad to my desktop !!

For some unknown reason, I am unable to sync my ipad2 with my desktop.  I receive a message saying it cannot sync due to an unknown error 1140.
Hate to have to run to the apple store to get this resolved...hope someone here knows the answer !!  I need to sync !!
    Thank You.

Experienced User Terrell Smith recently posted on this Error Code:
    Terrell Smith:
"Today I was in an Apple Store, and four Apple Geniuses could not solve this problem. It seems to have something with large iPhoto Libraries, because when I started iPhoto up with a small library (1,100 photos), the problem did not occur. In iTunes, under the Photo's option "Sync Photos," if the iPhoto library is large (38,000 photos), the option to select the radio button "Selected albums, Events, and Faces" is grayed out, and you cannot select it.
My guess is that since the large iPhoto library will not fit on your iOS device, iTunes throws the 1140 error.
As others have noted, if you uncheck "Sync Photos" in iTunes, the rest of things will sync instead of throwing the 1140 error message.
But you don't have synced photos then.
The Apple Store told me they have no solution for this error. We should file iPhoto Feedback, and that this issue has been escalated to Apple Engineering."

  • After iOS update, my iTunes no longer sync 'ERROR MESSAGE'

After the new iOS update on my phone, my iTunes on my MAC will not sync. The error message I receive says I need to update iTunes, but it's already updated to the last version and there are no updates available when I go thru the iTunes menu.  HELP!

Apple fans. Don't fret. I struggled with this since Saturday when I got my new phone. im pretty tech savvy with a background in computers and I'm a mechanic by trade so i generally know how things work and figure out anything. After trying everything you all have probaby tried as well I did some comparisons to my wife's phone. I paid all three of our cars to her phone easily. One is a Honda hand free link, the other a Hyundai sonata system and the last a pioneer aftermarket Bluetooth with streaming, avrcp etc. after her iPhone 6 128gb connected and worked flawlessly, I narrowed the problem down to my phone specifically. It's not the phone, it's not the ios8, it's not your car. It's your settings. All I did was reset network settings and bam. Problem fixed. You see I messeed with a bunch of stuff in the beginning trying to avoI'd data overage and must have turned something off by mistake. Another theroy I have is my iPhone 5 setting were copied over in the process of migration and they were maybe incompatible with the iPhone 6 itself. Either way post back and let me know if this helps

  • How to get rid of sync error message

    Hello,
When I first installed CC on my computer, our company's proxy was refusing the connections to the Adobe cloud servers and I couldn't sync my test file "test.indd".
From that moment I'm getting the "unable to sync "test.indd" due to server error" message.
After having determinated all the server ips that Adobe uses in the Amazon cloud and added manually the exeptions to our proxy server, syncing files finally worked. Great thanks to Adobe for not giving the server ips out and not helping at all.
Syncing files now works but I keep receiving the "unable to sync "test.indd" due to server error" message.
I have tried to recreate the file with the exact filename and sync it again but that doesn't solve my problem.
As a paying customer (7 x CC for teams licences) I contacted the Adobe support and they told me that they don't do any support for server problems !???!!!!! and redirected me to this forum page http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/arent-my-files-syncing.html which has nothing to do with my problem. Can't find any words to describe that customer support...
Maybe there is someone in this community willing to do the job of Adobe support and help me?

    Thanks for your reply Mylenium,
Sorry I forgot to mention my system: Windows 7 Pro 64Bit SP1.
In C:\users\You\AppData\Roaming I find many cache related files, but only a few that are not related to any specific CC app:
    C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\cache\ExtensionManifest
    C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache
    C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache Files
I have backuped those files, removed from their respective folders and restarted the CC Desktop app but the message is still popping up.
Does anyone know in which file(s) the sync cache is stored exactly? I can't find any information about that on the net nor forum.

  • Voice memo won't sync - error message

I have an iPhone 5 and the latest version of iTunes on my computer. I have the setting on 'sync manually'. The first time I clicked sync to transfer a voice memo to my computer an error message came up and it didn't transfer. Now when I click again it's as if iTunes already thinks it has copied the voice memo over but it isnt there. Any ideas? I need this file on my computer urgently.

    Hi Catherineduffy!
I have an article here that I believe will help you get this file onto your computer:
    iPod: Recording voice memos
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2396
Specifically, I think these instructions at the bottom of the article will be most relevant for you:
Transferring a recording to a computer
    Manually
Voice memos are saved in a Recordings folder on iPod in the WAV file format. If you enable iPod for disk use, you can drag voice memos from the folder to copy them.
    Synchronize
If iPod is set to update songs automatically and you record voice memos, the voice memos are automatically downloaded to a playlist in iTunes when you connect iPod. Once downloaded, the voice memos are removed from the Voice Memos folder on your iPod. To play the voice memos that have been synchronized to your computer in iTunes, select the Voice Memos playlist on the left side of the iTunes window. To play the synchronized voice memos on the iPod, select the Voice Memos playlist in the Music menu, not the Voice Memos menu in the Extras menu.
So that file will sync automatically to your computer with automatic sync selected. You may want to try automatic syncing to get the file from your phone onto your computer if that file is still on your phone. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!

    Braden

  • Itunes wont sync error message this computer is not authorized

itunes will not sync my purchased songs to my new ipod touch, i get an error message that says, "some of the songs purchased cannot be transferred, this computer is not authorized, go to store, then authorize this computer."   I have done this over and over again, I have even deauthorized and then RE authorized again and again, I still get the same message. Can someone please please please HELP ME?

I have been renting movies on my MBP and a previous MBP for years, and have always been able to transfer the rentals to an iPhone.  I always rent on the MBP and not the iPhone.  However due to a NEW authorisation problem recently I have not been able to play these movies through the Apple TV (V2) like I have been doing.  Others on the Internet have also started having this problem.  I have to resort to airplaying the movie from the MBP over to the Apple TV, which is a royal pain.  What's the point of having all this gear in the family room when I have to get up and go to the office and start the movie playing from there?!  Anyway, also recently I have not been able to move rented movies to the iPhone.  I have tried recursively chmodding the Shared folder as described here
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1277
    and it didn't help.
So now, if we go on a long road trip or flight, we can't bring the rented movies on an iPhone/iPad.  This is a big problem.  No I am not going to bring the laptop on the trip.  The iTunes library is on an external disk on the LAN anyway.
