HT1768 Itunes will not open and play. It says "Itunes has stopped working". I have deleted and reinstalled Itunes (three times), same with Quicktime. i have updated the driver, but it still won´t open. Any other ideas?
My laptop is Windows Vista.
Having the same problem - am running Win 7 Pro 32 bit. Discovered that when you close iTunes task manager shows that iTunes.exe is still running and will not close unless you reboot. I have also found that after starting Win 7 that if I launch iTunes by inserting a CD, the CD plays and displays all tracks correctly. However, if I eject the CD and insert a different one neither Win 7 or iTunes recognises the CD. These problems seem to have started with the release of 10.5.2 - prior to that no problems at all. Have tried reinstalling and it does not make any difference.

The iPhoto Library Upgrader tool doesn't work. I've downloaded it, and follow the directions, but iPhoto still won't open.
Your Library is damaged.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
As for goign back: do you have an undamaged library?

What happened? Tried to open Elements 8 and error message says "Photoshop has stopped working."
The Welcome screen somes up but then fades and error message says "Photoshop has stopped working." Then Windows closes the program.
I shut down the computer, waited, then did restart, clicked on PSE, and the same message came up again. That was last night, thought I might get a message this morning, but same thing happened again. I'm trying to not panic - this is all new to me.
Any help welcome!If you have not updated to the most current version, you might try that.

Adobe photoshop CC 2014 is closing shortly after opening. It is saying it has stopped working. HELP!

I just spoke with Adobe support on chat and they gave me step by step instructions to clean my adobe and what not and download the new photoshop, and it worked fine but then it is saying it has stopped working shortly after opening. The chat is offline right now someone please tell me yo ucan give me instructions what to do?!?!
A friend gave me a link to AMD to update my driver and it seemed to work.

When I open ITunes, I get a message that "iTunes has stopped working". I have tried reinstalling iTunes, creating a new user file, changing the startup programs in accordance with articles in iTunes troubleshooting, but am having no success in getting iTunes to stay open. Updated BB DM - and now will not connect (receive RIM HH Comm Mgr has stopped working)

This is what I get for updating my software (I should never do that) - - - but I did, and now when I start my BB DM I get the following error "RIM Handheld Communications Manager has stopped working".
I even tried re-loading an oldddd version of BB DM, and I still get the message.
I've rebooted, uninstalled, re-installed - etc etc - and of course RIM offers no customer support on their website for the Desktop Manager.
Anyone with any ideas - I would greatly appreciate it - - thank you.

BB DM 7.1 Build 42Yep - I unchecked that block. But, good news, I found al 2011 version of BB DM and installed that and it is working perfectly......so, I will just never update again....lol

Itunes keeps saying it has stopped working when on internet or in itunes
When I open itunes store and sometimes itunes when connected to the internet it comes up with " i tunes has stopped working" A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will.... Then the only thing you can do is click - close program. Anyone know how to help. I uninstalled itunes and quicktime and have deleted all songs. Also created a new apple id.

Hello - I just had to replace the hard drive on my pc, and now my Outlook calendar and contacts won't sync to my iphone 5s. I ended up getting two hard drives (C and G), so I'm afraid that might have something to do with it - although I'm pretty sure Outlook files still live in the normal place on C. Itunes sync acts as if it's working, but nothing changes on my phone. Any ideas? Thanks!!

I have a program called commission killer that I have downloaded and I can't open it because it says compileBot has stopped working. It then tells me to either close the program or have Windows look for a solution and then it closes without any solution. I want to be able to use this program and yet I don't know what to do to correct this. I have deleted it closed the firewall and the security program AVG but that didn't work either when I redownloaded the program. I had few issues with Mozzilla browser so i uninstalled it completely and tried to re install it again. But when i try to reinstall it , it does not install fully , it breaks half way and says, Firefox has stopped working. I cant install Firefox now. Can you help.
Try this instead:

Make sure that your security software isn't causing problems.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Hold down the option key while starting iTunes and make an new library. Will it open then? If so, you have a bad library. With the new library import the library.xml version of the file in your iTunes folder. This will make it 90% like before (some metadata are not identical, but I don't know which ones).
