The bankcard must be issued in the Country you are trying to change to, and your mailing address must also be in that country.

What country are you in ? If you are in the US then you can only use the US iTune store, and you can't use a Canadian credit card with the US store - a credit card needs to have been issued by a bank in the country where you are.
If you are in Canada then remove your old credit card from your account and then update your country/region and billing address on your account e.g. by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and 'view Apple id' on the popup, or via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes

HT1918 I can't change my country/region with iTune and therefore can't change my method of payment. Help.

I can't change my country/region on iTunes and therefore can't change my payment information. I've moved from Canada to Australia and am now using an Australian credit card.
On my device I've gone into settings>iTunes &app store> Apple ID > view Apple ID > country/ region > change country/region. When I try tapping on this last icon, nothing happens. It doesn't give an option to change.
I've also updated my address with apple.

It sounds like you are trying to change your country in the iPhone settings but when you get to the last step, nothing happens. I would start by closing all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and try changing the country again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, try signing out of your account in settings, then restart one more time, sign back in and try to change the country again.

How can I change the Country and Credit card Apple ID without loose the app installed ?

Hi, I move from Brazil to Qatar and keep using my account at Brazil since I have a credit card there and the old address.
Today Ireceived a message when I was updating my app at my iPad that I should change my payment method that was rejected (???), I try to update and keep the same message... So now maybe better to use address and card from Qatar.
I could not understand how can I change the country and shop since everything at the address is linked to Brazil.
Also I'm afraid to lose the installed app...
Please, a step by step will help a lot, I have a very low computer experience ...

You won't lose apps that are installed.   You will lose the ability to update them
Business with the App stores is restricted to those stores in your formal country of residence (your billing address) and a bank supported credit card from that same country.   You can buy and update apps with those details only in that country.
If you have established residences and bank supported accounts in other countries you can also use those.   You can buy and update apps in those countries using those details.
You cannot interchange them.   You cannot merge IDs or purchase details.

Having moved from the US to Switzerland I tried to change my payment method with the new Swiss credit card and the new billing address but itunes keeps giving me an error message when I try to buy something.
Any idea how to fix it?

HT1918 how can i change the country of my account while having a gift card balance?

i have an account on the american store (which was originally in the canadian store) and i switched it because I bought my mac in america and i'm a student there and i got 100$ gift card to the american itunes store.
i now have 0.34 cents left on the account and that is pretty much useless to me. I now want to switch my account back to the canadian store because my credit card card is canadian and i can't do anything with the account until i switch it back to a canadian one..ad when i try to switch it- i'm told that i can't change the country on the account bc i have a $0.34 credit...and i don't know how to get rid of the credit. any help?

Did you actually watch the movie? You get 30 days in which to view it and if you didn't watch it, that could be why you are getting that message. If you have watched the movie and you're sure that is has expired by now, contact iTunes Store Support and seek their help.

Hi, my spotify says that I need to change the country on my profile because it isn't the same as I`m in right now.That's what I wanted to do but I can't change the country. There is only the USA as an option but I'm living in Germany.I also tried the german website but there too only the USA was an option. The textfield above which says "Country" was on the german website also "Country" and not in German like the rest of all the textfields.Can you guys help me?Thank you

Ich bin Deutscher, mit deutscher Adresse und deutschem Bankkonto usw. aber für die nächsten Monate halte ich mich in Brasilien auf. Spotify akzeptiert aber nicht, dass ich "in Wirklichkeit" Deutscher bin, sondern geht davon aus, dass ich Brasilianer sein muss, wenn meine IP-Adresse aus Brasilien kommt. Deshalb kann ich mir keinen Premiumzugang kaufen, weil ich dafür über eine brasilianische Identität verfügen müsste.. Ich will SPotify Premium aber auch hier nutzen und nicht erst kaufen können, wenn ich in 6 Monaten wieder in Deutschland bin. Weißt du, ob man irgendwo einen Antrag auf Änderung des Heimatlandes stellen kann? Ich kann es für Spotify auch anhand meiner Ausweise oder Bankdaten belegen. Das Prinzip, dass allein die IP-Adresse darüber entscheidet, welches Herkunftsland man hat, verstehe ich nicht und finde ich unter verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten höchst fragwürdig... ;-) Nochmal Danke :-)

No it´s under that email that is in the forum. The subscription dissappeard as you didn´t got my last payment, and now I don´t know how to change my credit card info. Does it means that it have been canceled automatically? cause when I start my CC, there´s a text saying that I have 6 days left to change my payment info.
