how can i get the music from itunes on my pc to transfer to my iphone?

The only supported method to get media onto an iDevice is via iTunes.  Read the User's Guide it will describe how to do this in detail.
iCloud does not put media on the device, but using iTunes Match and iCloud it is possible to have access to all media that exists on your computer, but only when the device has Internet access.  It will not load media onto the device.
Use of 3rd party tools to transfer files to the device is not supported.

    Hi tak661_99m,
It sounds like you want to transfer music from your older iPod shuffle to iTunes and then sync it to the new iPod nano. Take a look at the article below for more information about transfering music from your device to iTunes. The way you transfer the music to the new iPod nano will vary depending on where the music came from and whatever is most convenient for you.

  • Can't get the music from Itunes Store to my Ipod

I have just downloaded a couple of songs from Itunes, without any problems. But a problem occurs when i try to get it from my libery to my Ipod, it tells me that i didn't got kopied to my ipod because i do not have permission to play the subject on my computer.
How come ? And how do i fix it ?
It says "Explicit" in front of the songs i just downloaded can this have something to do with the fact that i can't get it to my Ipod ??
    Acer   Windows XP

Did you actually authorize your purchases by playing them for a few seconds on your computer prior to downloading to your iPod? "Explicit" has nothing to do with this issue. A song is flagged that way because of bad language or possibly being sexually explicit.

  • I have an iPod nano which s loaded with music from a pc. My wife is trying to put the music from the nano onto her Mac laptop. It will not allow her to drag and drop music from the nano to iTunes. How can we get the music from the nano onto her mac laptop

can someone please tell me if it is possible to get music off a nano (loaded from a pc) and into iTunes on a mac laptop ?

You're dealing with two different Apple ID's so that won't work and according to Apple, they cannot be consolidated.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.  Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

  • I have signed into a new account on my itunes on my computer. How do I get the music from the new account to be displayed in my library, because I can only see the old accounts music.

I have signed into a new account on my itunes on my windows computer. How do I get the music from the new account to be displayed in my library if only the old account's music is showing up?

You can transfer the music purchased from iTunes Store to the computer but not music acquired somewhere else.
Syncing is one way street, computer to iPhone. You have to use 3rd party tool to transfer music not from iTunes Store to the computer.

  • How can i get the music ive copied from cd onto my new computer

how can i get the music that i have copied from cd's on to my new computer.(the computer my phone was sync to blew up)  if i sync to the newit i will all the music  thats on my phone,

Restore from the backup of your old computer. Copy it from the CDs.
Look for a 3rd party app that can do what you want. Senuti has been
mentioned in the past - I do not use it so cannot comment on how
well it works. I would assume there are others as well.
iOS does not natively support syncing music back from the iPhone
    to a computer.

how can I get my music from my iPod touch version 4.2 to the cloud so I can listen to it on my iPad or computer? I tried a manual transfer from iTunes but that doesn't work.

    - For iTunes purchases:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
In iTunes 11 use Control+B to show the Menu bar then go to iTunes>File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
    - For other music you need a third-party program like one of those discussed here:

I have a new pc windows 7 and when i plug in my ipod it says it must erase all the data to sync.  How do i get the music from my ipod to my new computer.  The old computer is trashed and files are not available, songs are only on ipod.

One of the reasons why including your iTunes library with your computer's backup is a good idea. Use this link for future reference in this regard.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPad, and iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to authorize your new computer with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so.
With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
