How do I transfer purchase in the new version of iTunes? The File menu is gone, and right-clicking on the device icon doesn't do anything. Cntrl + B will display the menu.
Cntrl + S will display the side bar.

Right click on the device and select "Transfer Purchases"

Easy peasy!
1. Highlight all the songs you want to remove the artwork from.
2. Pull down File > Get Info (Apple+I on the keyboard)
3. Click the checkbox next to the "artwork" panel.
4. Click OK and the artwork will be removes.
For individual tracks:
1. Hightlight the track.
2. Get Info.
3. Click the Artwork tab.
4. Click the artwork, click Delete, click OK.

I've just updated iTunes to ver. 11 on my mothers new PC and I'm connecting her iPad up for the first time. I can't see anything like the transfer purchases option that exsisted in the previous versions. I've tried to eject and start again, but it's still not giving me the option like it used to when you connected a device for the first time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

okay, should have serched a little more.. all I had to do was CTRL + b in my library to view the file menu, and under File -> Devices -> transfer purchases

I downloaded a big bunch of plugins for Photoshop CC. Now I also have downloaded Photoshop CC 2014. How do I connect all those plugins to the 2014 version?

Many plug-ins DO install extra files in other places, such as the Photoshop main installation folder. If you can work out which files those are, AND the older plug-in doesn't do anything that's fundamentally incompatible with the new version of Photoshop you may find you can copy the plug-ins.
If the plug-in maker is charging money for a new version that's compatible with Photoshop it may well be because they had to put significant effort into making the plug-in compatible. Far too many plug-ins hook into Photoshop in ways that go outside the published plug-in interface in order to do "fancy" things.
I've seen enough folks coming to the forum with Photoshop instability to advise anything other than what I said up in post 2 as a general rule. At the least if you're contemplating copying specific plug-ins, you should ask here whether anyone's tried it.

In iTunes 11, there is no longer a Print function from any menu; you have to use a hotkey print command. Select your playlist and then hit 'Ctrl+p" (or on a Mac 'Cmd+p'.). You should then see print options for CD inserts similar to iTunes 10. See https://support.apple.com/kb/PH12348 for more info.

When I changed my email address, I created a new Apple ID with my new email address. Now, whenever I want to update any of the apps in my iPhone via iTunes it asks for my old Apple ID (which was the same as my old email address). I've since forgotten my old ID's password and Apple's stupid password help only sends the requested info to the old email address that I no longer can get to, I can't update the apps that I've paid for on my iPhone. How can I transfer all the purchases I've paid for from my old Apple ID to my new Apple ID?

Are you sure that you can change your Apple ID email without creating an entirely new Apple ID? I changed my Apple ID email/password and now iTunes wont recognize any of my previous purchases. It's treating my account as though it's a separate account. What's weired is that my iPhone works fine with my new account credentials. It let's me update and use my apps without any problems.

It's possible that you did not creat a new ID. Maybe you just updated the email/password but iTunes is failing to recognize that it's the same ID/Account. I seem to be having a similar problem. I don't have an answer that this time, but you should be aware of the fact that you may not have created a new account.

Your best option of migrating was when your turned on the new computer for the first time using Setup Assistant. Part of SA is it asks if you are migrating from another Mac, you apparently passed that and missed that opportunity. You then must have used Migration Assistant which is similar to SA but with one critical difference. Migration Assistant migrates everything to a new user account whereas SA would not. Log out of your existing account and into the new account and you will find your stuff. If you want to start over (highly recommended) you can. You will need to carefully read Lion Setup Assistant tips beginning where he discusses Second Chance.... This will take some time but in the long run make your migration more seamless.

Ok, just to make sure that I understand what you are trying to do:
You have already edited the images on the iPad but you have imported the images to your Desktop where the changes aren't visible since you once again took them from the SD card?
As I understand it you have a different copy of the images on your device and the desktop since the edits weren't on the SD card once you imported them to the Desktop.
I still don't know which application you did these changes on the iPad or if your camera takes RAW's or JPG's.

I have authorized my new computer and all the songs that I have purchased through iTunes have transferred to my new iTunes version, as have the apps., only the songs from CD's have not transferred. I am a pretty new user to the iPhone and iTunes and do not want to lose the music that I transferred from CD's but do need to update my phone.

The iphone is not a backup device. The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases.
You need to copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of the old computer to your new one.

Well, two thoughts.
The battery has completely discharged and will take overnight to recharge, so don't expect much in an hour.
The battery has deep discharged and is now dead. It will never recharge and should be replaced.

Are the songs that don't play set to Skip when shuffling?
To check one song, highlight it, select File (or right-click)/Get Info/Options>Skip when shuffling.
To set all the songs in the Playlist, in one go, so that they will play when shuffle is on, highlight the complete list and then choose File (or right-click)/Get Info/Options>Skip when shuffling - drop-down menu.
Important: if you use the multiple items method, the drop-down will always say no if just one song is set to "No". Therefore, you need to change this to "Yes" and then back to "No" for all songs to be set to No.
