HT1848 I purchased a album on my iPhone and was playing it for several days... Last night after syncing it to my laptop i no longer have it on my phone and the only thing that shows up in my iTunes is the digital booklet.
How in the world do i get my lost Album back?
I purchased a Album from Itunes on my iphone, Played it for several days. Then when I synced my phone to my laptop, the album is no longer there. It shows up in the Itunes on my computer but only as the digital booklet, which you are supposed to get after a purchase.
I tried downloading all songs into itunes, that didnt work. I tried logging out of my account with no avail. I tried seeing if i could go into iTunes again and buy redownload it. But it showes that I have to purchase it again...
Any help would be appreciated.

One clue: I have found a reliable way to solve the problem when it happens.
In my network, I have the main Airport Extreme (Gen 1) which is connected to my router, which distributes IP addresses to my internal subnet. The other two AEs (one Gen 4, one Gen 5) are set to extend the network.
When I get this problem with an AppleTV 2 that can "see" my library, but when I try to open it, it says it couldn't find the library, it seems to have to do with a change in which Airport Extreme it's talking to.
If I restart the main Airport Extreme from the Airport Utility, effectively restarting the entire wireless network, then when the network resumes, every AppleTV 2 is happy again.
Unfortuntely, the problem does seem to recur - but I'm wondering if it's because temporary interference leads an AppleTV 2 to try to connect to a different AE, and somehow that's mucking with the Home Sharing. Remember, internet access (Trailers, Store, Netflix) have no issues. Purely Home Sharing.

At the present time, the only way to keep photos in iCloud indefinitely is to add them to a shared stream, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99. However, photos added to a shared stream will be a lower resolution than the original photos. These shared streams can be shared with your friends.
If you add the photos to your normal photo stream, they will be deleted from iCloud (and all other devices/computers) when you delete them from your phone. And although your backup includes camera roll photos, if you delete them from your phone and continue backing it up, the backup containing the deleted photos will be overwritten by one that doesn't and they will be lost.
This is likely to change in the fall with iOS 8 and its iCloud Photo Library feature (see http://www.apple.com/ios/ios8/photos/). -
Hello. I'm having a problem signing onto my iPad mini. When I went to sign on yesterday the number pad to sign on moved upward and now it is out of site. Now I can't sign on the only thing that shows is the Apple logo.
Have you tried to give your iPad a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if it helps.

Are you using mirroring or using airplay within iTunes? If you are truly mirroring then you can view anything that is displayed on your computer through Apple Tv

When I'm presenting using an external projector, the only thing that shows up on the view screen is my desktop screen. It will also display a powerpoint file, but only in slide show mode. No other files (word, excel, etc) or safari will display. How can I get what I see on my computer screen to show up on the external screen?

You can either set it to "mirror" or arrange the monitors side by side. Then when you want to show the working window on your projector slide it in the direction you set as the second monitor. Many teachers will do this to show a video or powerpoint to their class while working on another document or answering emails. -

Apple Tv (3rd generation) says it is connected (via ethernet), but none of the app, or channels, will work. They all say they are unvailable, try again later. The only thing that seems to work is iTunes. (I live in a dorm if that helps)
Its not properly connected to the network. Most school networks require login via webpage, which isn't possible as ATV has no browser. You will need to contact the IT dept or the network provider.

You could try emailing iTunes support, giving them your order number, etc. or you could just take the hit and pay the 99p. I know what I would do.

I can successfully download the digital booklet included with Taylor Swift's Red Deluxe album, but when I try to open it in Adobe Reader (and the pdf reader included with Windows 8), the following error screen appears:
I have tried to re-download the file several times - and on a different computer. Is Apple aware of this issue and, if so, is there a fix for it? Both are using Windows x64 versions. One is running Windows 7, the other running (the truly awful) Windows 8.

p.s. I upgraded to iTunes 11 before this purchase and I find iTunes 11 to be a marked improvement on v10 and the only reliable media player that I am able to use on Windows 8, so congratulations Apple for doing a better job than Microsoft when it comes to Windows 8 compatibility, lol! -

You have created an Extended Desktop. The up-down-left-right arrangement is done in the Arrange pane in
System Preferences > Displays > Arrange
The second screen is added to one edge of the first screen. The mouse moves freely off the edge of one screen and onto the other screen. You can drag and drop files or windows from one screen to the other. -
I can access all my folders in hotmail when I log on from google but they don't show up and just the general mailbox. I don't want to have to logon to Google every time I want to check my Hotmail but I also need to be able to see all my subfolders that I created under the inbox. There are many time to do not wish to delete the message but at the same time I don't want to leave them in the inbox forever. I tried restarting my iPhone 4s which has the update seven-point whatever it is now and also went and try to create an exchange account where it did not let me do it. Try deleting your hotmail account and then adding it back as an Outlook account instead of "other". It worked for me.

Webcam the only thing that shows up in the device selection
I am trying to use Adobe flash media encoder 3.2 it only shows my webcam under devices that I can select (with two different names). I can't get it to show my computer screen. If someone could give me step by step instructions on how to get my computer screen to show up that would be great.

Please could you let us know which version of Photoshop you are using and whether the extensions menu is now greyed out? If you used Adobe add-ons to download your products, it will be easy to reinstall them directly from the 'My Add-ons' link on the left-hand side of the add-ons website: creative.adobe.com/addons.
If, however, you are a CS6 user and use Adobe Exchange to obtain products for Photoshop, the 'My Stuff' section of the panel, as well as Extension Manager, will give you an indication of what should and shouldn't be currently installed in your copy of Photoshop.
