i've managed to loose all of my purchased music. In itunes there is a purchased button that allows you to redownload, but not all of my songs are there, on 45 out of 1300 songs.. anyone know

TS1717 Itunes has been "processing file" of my down load of Badlands for 8 hours
Itunes has been "processing file" of my down load of Badlands for 8 hours. What is going on?
Update:
15 hrs later and it's still "Processing Album Artwork".
It does that in the background so I can still use iTunes, but can't import anything else until this is finished.
I have over 100 gigs to import and it's taken almost a day to do under 10 gigs.
Is iTunes 10 fu*kin useless?

IPod Nano corrupted by updating the OS and all my music has been lost!!!!!!
I downloaded iTunes 7 today and connected my nano. It said I should update the OS so I downloaded and installed the Operating System update. After doing so the nano restarted itself and when it reconnected itself I received the following message. "itunes has detected an ipod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this ipod before it can be used with itunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the ipod."
I tried reconnecting the iPod and I received the same error message.
I disconnected my iPod to see if any of my music was still on my iPod and it was all gone. This would not be so aggrevating if I had not just spent about $90 on music that is no longer on my computer because my computer had a nervous breakdown.
So I lost $90 worth of music because of this update! There is no phone number, email address, or anyway of getting touch with an Apple Support person that I can find. Anyone know?
I hope something is done to remedy this problem!Still not resolved, even worse now. The nano was all messed up last time I tried to use it, now it won't turn on, nor will it connect to my computer. I'll be calling that number today.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I upgraded my Original Iphone to an Iphone 4, and am having issues syncing my Music,
It asked me, if I wanted to set up my phone as a NEW Iphone, or use the last sync. I figured, using the last sync would simply move everything over. NOT, so much. I am using Windows, Not Mac.
I uploaded the LATEST version of Itunes. And on occasion if I click the Music link button, and tap a bunch of things,.. It will take me to a page that says,.. Iphone or Shared Library. The only way I can get my music to show up, is via, tapping Shared Owner's Library. But it takes a zillion taps to get there, and 50% of the time doesn't show up at all. It says- repeatedly, Either, "You have no songs," etc. or when I tap, "Not on this device" it says, "all of your music has been downloaded to this device..." But HOW do I get to it?
On my OLD phone, all I had to do was tap the Music Note,... and my library showed up... That's all I want...
I put my music in the cloud, etc,.. I just thought that was a COPY. Am I needing some kind of CLOUD app on my phone? Or Can someone walk me thru this... I'd be eternally grateful. I'm ready to throw this thing out the window! HELLLPPP! PLEASE!!!

Shea....The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

I have a Windows copy of Photoshop Elements 11, but the serial number has been lost. I didn't buy the product and I am unable to find the box. As far as I know, it's never been used so has not been registered. Does anyone know how the serial number can be recovered under these circumstances?
If you never bought the product then you cannot get the serial number.

If your phone is offline, the ONLY way to find it is to look for it the old fashioned way. Your phone CANNOT be located electronically if it's offline.

I updated my laptop and now the majority of my contents seem to have been wiped. Is there anything I can do to recover them? My backup was connected at the time so it has already backed-up to the computer's present state. Most photos/ Itunes/ Mail... has been lost. I have some stuff but only up until January 2013.
If all your files are missing
You may have logged in as a different user, such as Guest. Open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. Your name should be at the top of the user list, under Current User. See also this support article.

Change the Finder view mode; for example, from icon view to list view, or vice versa.
If files are present, but seem outdated

If you had "Find My iPhone" enabled in Settings > iCloud then you may be able to locate it. If not, you cannot locate it. If it was enabled then you can try locating it via http://icloud.com on a computer or the App "Find My iPhone" on another iDevice. Note: this will only work if your device is connected to a network and the device hasn't already been restored as new and/or "Find My iPhone" has not been disabled on it.
