HT1899 When i partition my Windows 7 disc, it says "some files cannot be moved." What does this mean?

What can i do about this?

Backup, erase, restore
shrink and resize back can sometimes also move, defrag and provide contiguous free space
buy Camptune from Paragon $20 and let it move files and partition the drive itself

I have never experienced this issue, but if you can't find anything that helps on the site that Philly suggested, I have read that this has worked for that error code.

i think the CD was bad. i took the machine to the Apple store and they said the Optical Drive was OK. so it must be the CD's i'm using... i use Verbatim type. let me know.

'Mediium write error' means it failed to write to the disc - some makes work better than others and you may just have hit a single bad disc or maybe your burner doesn't like the make of disc. I've always had good results with TDK.

I transferred my music to a larger hard drive and when I went to sync to iTunes there half my library had a '!' next to the songs. After I located one song the question 'would you like itunes to find other missing files' came up. What does this mean?

iTunes is a database. When you import songs to the database, it records the location of that song, so that when you play, or sync the song iTunes knows where to look for it.
When you moved your music to a different location, iTunes can't find it because you didn't tell iTunes that you moved the music.
You'll have to re-add those songs that you moved to your itunes library. Your best bet is going to be to delete all the songs in your library and then go to File > Add folder to library > and then find your music folder on the new external hard drive.
Also, the external drive HAS to be connected in order for iTunes to find it.

Did the email ask that you click on a link or provide additional information about yourself? If so it's a phishing scam. Delete the message and ignore it.
If you did buy a new computer sometime recently, then it's just a welcome email, nothing more.
