You have already successfully made an Apple ID or you would not be able to post here in the ASC. You should not create another Apple ID, you should use the one that you have or you will create issues for yourself in the future.
Open the iTunes app on your Mac. On the Home pane (little house) scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the flag in the lower right corner. Choose the Japanese flag.
Then at the top of the page in the Quick Links on the right side choose Account. Do notcreate a new Apple ID fill in your current Apple ID and follow the on screen instructions. -
I am at present in Spain. I have OS 10.6.8 on my applepro laptop. How can I upgrade to Mountain Lion? (and then to Mavericks). I can't get on to the apple store, for some reason.
Open the App Store application and use it to download Mavericks.

I finally updated my mini and I am starting to regret it, I can't use the App Store and every time I try to check my mail I get a screen that prompts

Thanks in advance.You are talking about a number of different ssues and it makes your post sound disjointed and confusing. Some semblance of order would make it easier to offer help.
I would start with a basic reset and go from there. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. See if that does any good at all.
When you post back, provide some details as to what is happening and not a just list of things that aren't working properly for you. It helps of you explain what happens why you try those things that aren't working for you now. -

LisserTry going to Setings > iTunes and App Store > AppleID > View Apple ID and switch to the UK store, then from the AppleID drop down pane, Sign Out. Start over at Settings > iTunes & App Store > AppleID and and ssign in again and then select the French store and see if it hasn't dropped the UK store.

EUREKA, I found the solution to my problem in a Discussion initiated by gingertodd on July 27, 2011 entitled "Safari in Lion hijacked by malware." The solution was provided by Badunit who recommended force quitting Safari and then reopening it while holding down the Shift key. It worked instantly, and I subsequently was able to open Safari normally by just clicking on its icon in the Dock. THANK YOU BADUNIT!

I have to agree with Andy here. I am having the same problem on a mid 2010 MBP (6,2). I have already read the AHT info provided by Sean's link, and they are less than helpful. I'm sure they will be helpful to those who find that they work, but they are confusing if this is not the case. For example, my MBP(6,2) came with ONE (not two) installation disks, so the instructions don't work for me. Another issue is the instructions confound the descriptions related to the MBP, the original (delivered) software (OS X version), and the current installed OS X upgrade software.
So here's what does NOT work for me...
(A) I cannot install 'Disk 2', since I never received this with my original (new) purchase in mid 2010.
(B) I have checked my firmware versions and they are all up to date, as per Apple's information.
(C) As suggested in another thread, I looked for /Library/Core Services/.diagnostics and it was NOT present. I followed his instructions, downloaded the correct (I believe) dmg, and installed it. It is in the correct place, and I can see all the invisible files using Pathfinder.
(D) When I re-start holding down the D key (immediately), it just goes through the normal boot routine; no evidence of AHT.
(E.1) When I re-start holding down OPT-D, I get a spinning globe, and then it prompts me for a network (wi-fi) connection.
(E.2) For some unknown reason, the prompt identifies between 2 and 5 of my --neighbors'-- routers, but does not show mine. (??!!)
(E.3) The routers are listed alphabetically; however, my router SHOULD be at the top of the list by this criterion, but it is nowhere to be seen.
(E.4) The 'internet recovery' process then allows me to enter a network name AND password. I do this, for my current wi-fi router, and the process rejects it as an incorrect login ID. It is NOT an incorrect login ID!
So, now asking Sean and Andy (or anyone else) for further suggestions... ??? As Andy suggested, many people ask questions here because they have -already- worked through the 'official' recommendations, and have found them to be inadequate.
Any advice would be appreciated! TIA.

iMovie was removed from my macbook pro after I downloaded OS X Yosemite, I had it before and have used it, but now I can only get it through the app store. I can't pay for it so I would really appreciate the help.
Look in your applications folder for the installer - Install OS X Yosemite. Delete it. Then go back to the App Store purchases tab and see if you can download it. You might have to re-index Spotlight.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

i dropped my ipod touch in the street and there is a large crack in the screen can i take it to the apple store and pay to have it fixed there or do i have to send it out?
They can fix it at the Apple Store. I wish you could get it fixed for free, but the warranty doesn't cover accidents like this . It sounds like you understand this, I just want to make sure you know.
