i cannot find my account password, i tried to receiving e-mail but there is no answer from itunes store.
my account's e-mail has a word '+' for using multiple account to accessing another country's store.
for example. 1. [email protected] 2. [email protected] 3. [email protected]
like this.
so, i forgot it. but there is no way to find my password.
and i couldn't find any answer for this situation.
i think there is a problem that my account has + word. so maybe apple's automatic answering system does not work with that.
please help me. thank you.

Did you also enter your username/email address and password for the SMTP server? most SMTP servers (used for sending mails) want you to log in or else won't send.
For testing purposes, you can send a message to yourself; as receiving messages is not a problem...

I have tried to restore using the instructions sent by Apple Rep, and on these help pages. I get a message from itunes saying that cannot connect to ipod touch b/c it is disabled, that i need to enter passcode to continue.. meanwhile, the ipod touch is saying i am disabled and to connect to itunes. Any NEW ideas?

If you cannot connect it to the computer to which the device was last connected (or the device was never connected to a computer) you will have to use recovery mode to completely reset the device, losing all data:

I can receive e-mails without a problem, but whenever I try to send e-mail to someone outside the .edu server, I receive the error message: "The server rejected one of the recipient's addresses. This indicates the account's SMTP server is not authenticated.
Most, if not all internet service providers block the use of SMTP servers that are outside of the ISP's network or not provided by the ISP being used for your internet connection at the time unless the SMTP server is authenticated. When connected to a cell phone carrier's cellular network for internet access is no exception. Does this occur when connected to the school's wi-fi network in addition when connected to AT&T's cellular network?

AlexCarey, I've been having issues purchasing recently and place a number of calls to the support team. On Oct. 5th, and on my own decision, I went into my itunes profile and re-entered my credit card expiration date and security code. (Notice, it is not displayed for safety measures.) Today, I received an email from Apple support verifying if I made changes made to my account. For the heck of it, I logged back into itunes; click "Buy". It's working again after three days of failure. However, diagnosis still displays "Secure link to itunes store failed". Very confusing state of affairs, lately. See my post on "Itunes dilemma"

Just updated from 10.6.7 ---> 10.6.8 and had the same issue. Despite having done a clean install from 10.6 and got everything back off my TC, now Time Machine can't find it!
Green light is on, ethernet cable conected, network CP says its conected but nothing. Airport Utility can't find it. Hit reset button, Orange flashing light but still no show in Airport Utility.
But I know its there, as rebooting from 10.6 SL disk shows the backups are still ok?

I get an Error: "The system cannot find the file specified" when trying to print to PDF w/ Acrobat 9.5 using Windows 7. This just started happening after upgrading to MS 2013 suite and also installed Adobe Reader at that same time.
I had problems in the past when Reader was installed with Acrobat, so I uninstalled Reader, but the problem still seems to occur.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have attempted this many times to no avail. As I said in my original post, "I have researched this problem on this forum and the Adobe site and believe that I have tried everything over the past week."

tonight I tried to download a ringtone to my iPhone 5. Picked out the one I wanted, clicked on "buy" and was asked for my p/w & if I wanted to assign it to a contact. Yes, entered correct p/w & yes. NO DOWNLOAD - it doesn't show up in my Ringtones under "Sounds" or "Text Tones" and a search of my phone doesn't show it. So, even though my balance was subtracted the cost, I tried again....still doesn't show up on the phone OR in iTunes on my iMac or iPad - and I was charged for it again!! ETA: It doesn't even show up in recent purchases.?!?
iMatch is turned on in all devices and I noticed that in iTunes on my iMac, there is NO tab for "Ringtones" or "Tones" in the top menu across my iTunes screen....however, in my library on the Mac there IS a line item for ringtones, but it's empty when I click on it. This is the 2nd ringtone I've purchased that doesn't show up; thrtefore I cannot use either one but have been charged for both...GRRR
