How do I get rid of my old charter email address on the game center app and icloud. It is messing things up when I go to sign in with my new Apple ID using Att? I am continually asked to update my password!!

Can i stack JPEG images or do they have to be Raw Files? The other help videos I have seen have the shortcut CommandG to stack, mine does not respond that command nor do i have a heading labeled Photos.
In order to stack images they must be all highlighted as a group. And the group must be contiguous, in other words next to each other. However, if you are talking about stacking images for the purposes of creating an HDR image, that cannot be done using Lightroom. You will need Photoshop or some other software with HDR capabilities in order to do that. It is possible to stack any file type or combination of file types, including virtual copies.

Why does Apple kick their old subscribers under the bus? I have an iMac G5 1.9 and 2.1 computer using Leopard 10.5.8 system, and I cannot renew my MobileMe account, why? MobileMe is being terminated in two weeks. If you have files on your iDisk which are not also on your computer you need to be downloading them as soon as possible or you will lose them.

Why is iMessage taking my incoming emails and then not making them available for my PC to get? Why can I not send a text msg with photos when iMessage is turned off (but MMS is still on).
I compose an iMessage with the destination as my email address and I attach 2 photos I want on my PC. I send them several times from my iPhone 5C but they never arrive. I look at my ipad later and realize that it's iMessage app is getting ( and swallowing) these emails. I then turn the ipad off. Still can't get the photos through because iphone is now getting them on it's iMessage. I turn off the iMessage feature and try to send photos from text msging. Phone tells me it can't send photos unless iMessage it turned on. What happened to regular MMS text messaging? I go and try to send photos as an email attachment and see that there is no option to attach from the stupid email program. I look up online to learn about the brave new world of apple attachments and send them.

If iMessage is turned off I don't have the issue.

I open Address Book, go into Preferences, select Template and under the Names field (friend, assistant, father, etc) I add a custom field called "Principal".
I also add two more custom fields in the Email area.
Quit Address Book then relaunch. Add a new contact and the new custom fields, Principal, etc. are there. All good so far.
I have a Now Contact file with about 200 contacts in it. I export all fields as a Text file, Tab delimited. No problems there. With Address Book launched, select Import, pick the text file, leave Text Encoding on Automatic and click Open.
The window that shows the fields for Address Book and fields for the text file side by side opens. This is where you match up the correct fields for importing. If I go to one of the fields from the text file that I created a custom field for, click under the Address Book heading on the Do not import, scroll thru the Apple choices of fields, none of the custom fields show up. Only the original Apple ones are there. Why does Apple let you create them in the Template area but not have them available for importing? Does anyone have suggestions on getting around this?While most likely not of interest to you, Spotlight can also tell you where the files it finds are located

Why does Apple require an ISBN when Amazon and B&N's digital stores don't. In many ways this eliminated many individuals or small presses from selling their books on iTunes. Does Apple specifically not want those not alligned with pre-digital publishing to be able to sell books on iTunes? As per barnesandnoble.com's PubIt!: “You do NOT need an ISBN to sell your eBook through PubIt!. If you don’t have an ISBN, just tell us that you don’t have one by answering No when prompted. In that case, Barnes & Noble will assign an internal 13-digit identifier to your title for you when you submit the title to go on sale.”
Apple is the only of the "big three" eBook distributers that requires an ISBN and that is a bad call and reduces that "democratic" power of eBook publishing. I hope they change the policy soon. Anyone know who the best person to email about this issue would be? -
We have two iPads. mine is the first one purchased. I opened iTunes to put some photos from the Mac to my wife's iPad. I plugged in my wife's iPad. Both ipads have the same apple id and password. iTunes synced everything from my iPad to my wife's iPad. Now we have two identical iPads looking like mine. Everything on her ipad seems gone and replaced with mine, all her recent holiday photos, emails, settings, etc etc seem gone.
