HT1918 Changing regions in iTunes

I recently moved so I was trying to change my region in iTunes but it said I had rentals that haven't expired. The last item I rented expired 6 days ago. How can I get rid of this error and try to change my region?

Correct. You can no longer access the U.K Store as you are no longer in the U.K
Did you fail to maintain a backup copy of your computer/apps/music/etc.?

HelloI was hoping someone could help me. I screened shot a document from my school's web page and I saved on desktop. My instructor wants me to send the document to her as a saved word document and I am not able to. I submitted the screen shots but she is unable to view the printing is too small.

HT1918 I can't change my country/region with iTune and therefore can't change my method of payment. Help.

I can't change my country/region on iTunes and therefore can't change my payment information. I've moved from Canada to Australia and am now using an Australian credit card.
On my device I've gone into settings>iTunes &app store> Apple ID > view Apple ID > country/ region > change country/region. When I try tapping on this last icon, nothing happens. It doesn't give an option to change.
I've also updated my address with apple.

It sounds like you are trying to change your country in the iPhone settings but when you get to the last step, nothing happens. I would start by closing all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and try changing the country again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, try signing out of your account in settings, then restart one more time, sign back in and try to change the country again.

I want to change regions and buy a UK TV program. iTunes says my account is set up in the US and I can't do that. Why not?

I just spent the afternoon setting up a new Apple ID because Apple told me I can't buy British programming after I found out how to change regions. Since I had signed up for a season of a program, I had to wait until it downloaded to change regions. So the new Apple ID is ready to go! I change regions! I find my program from the UK - Guess what? Apple says my Apple ID is set up for the US so I can't purchase in the UK? Is there an answer out there? Somebody help me, please! Margold

What country are you in ? You can only buy from your own country's store - to be able to buy from the UK store you will need to be here in the UK with a UK billing address on your account. If you aren't in the UK then you can try requesting that the series be added to you country's store, but ultimately it's the TV company that will have to grant Apple a license to do so : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

The common way people do it is to contact iTunes Customer Service and request them to zero out the amount. Then you will be able to change country.

To change your region in iTunes, firstly you will need to change the country or region related to the Apple ID you used to sign in to the iTunes & Appstore. To do that, in your iPhone, goto Settings->iTunes & Appstore-> Select your Apple ID-> View Apple ID-> Type in your Apple ID Password
In the account settings, Change your Country or region and press done.

You cannot buy from another country. You need a valid credit card issue in Germany and have a valid address.

HT1918 Trying to make make account changes to my itunes account. Receive error message regarding province "enter at most 3 letters" when the only option I have is to select from a drop down menu. Cannot make changes to my account. How do I get this fix

I am attempting to make changes to my itunes account, but when I hit done, an error message "enter at most 3 letters or numbers for province" appears. I have not attempted to make any modificaitons to this field. The only options I have for data in this field are picked from a drop down menu. I have no idea why this msg is appearing. Any ideas on why it is showing up? Thanks.

Hi, I moved to the US from Mexico and I want to change countries on my iphone so I can buy apps here. I do have a CC and a billing address. Is that possible?

iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store account - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1311 - Change your iTunes Store country: "Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region."
You will, of course, need to change your address and enter valid credit card information after you have changed the settings.
