You do not have to remove anything in order to use your balance.
It will use the balance first.

When we purchase from iTunes the balance is not coming off of the gift cards. We have family sharing on but when my kids purchase songs they are credited to our credit card and not the gift card that is already in their account. What's wrong?

Import the music and photos from the memory card with your computer and place the music in your iTunes library.
Place the photos in a folder to be designated for transfer to your iPhone.
Select Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes to transfer this music and any other music in your iTunes library and select Sync Photos under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes selecting the folder where these photos are located followed by a sync. -
Hi, I purchased itunes match in order to convert the previously purchased songs that reflected copyright and would not copy to other device. Ran itunes match however, I can not find a way to obtain my 62 matched songs to place on hard drive to copy.

You have to delete the DRM copies from your library first.

Normally the credit is used up first before the system falls back to a credit card to cover a balanced not covered completely by the credit on the account.

In itunes Store. Trying to purchase music, it sends me to verify my acct info, I do that, hit done, it asks if I still want the purchase, I select Yes and it sends me back to verify billing information. How can I get out of this darn loop and make my purchase?

Stopped a download of a song purchase but still got charged, can I get credit?
I was purchasing songs in the I-Tunes store and mistakenly started to download the wrong one and stopped it, but am still getting it listed as a purchase. is there a way to fix or change this?
If you mean that you don't have enough free space available on your iPad then you might be able to (refunds are generally for corrupt downloads, apps not working as described etc), but you can try contacting iTunes Support and see what they say : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

My issue is just with itunes....not my ipod... Ive been afraid to plug my ipod in to charge it incase it automatically sincs with the Itunes I have now on my new computer since this itunes is empty of my purchased songs and self made playlists. They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod. -
