To eject the Disc, hold the Mouse button down, (or what passes for it on a Laptop), while powering up, if you also hold the Option key down at the same time it should eject & give you a chance to insert your install disc & wait for it to shw as a Boot option.

1. Insert the Tiger Mac OS X Install disc , then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, *you must select your language first.)*
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
Then Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it finishes.
If it appears to be time for An Archive & Install, which gives you a new OS, but can preserve all your files, APPs, pics, music, settings, etc., as long as you have plenty of free disk space...

Yes- it is a Mac. I went through adobes system requirements and re- downloaded supportive software. The notice seems to happen near the end of the down load with the messages above. I'll look into your suggestion. Thank you- appreciated.

I'm trying to get onto facetime and I keep getting a message saying the server encountered an error processing registration please try again later. Can anybody tell me what is going on?
I have read over and actioned ALL recommendations many times over, and still get the Facetime error..! I have reset Host file, looked for iphone certificates, set time/date to auto, checked for suspect DNS entries, cleared caches etc etc. It's become a very fustrating problem. Worked fine for a long time but then suddenly stopped.

I believe there is a technique which uses some similar suggestion to unwittingly tempt the user into installing malware, in order to be able to watch some (usually sexually explicit) video, so be aware of this ruse.
The only things I would download would be Perian that extends Quicktime, available here,

I am trying to set p my photo stream on my desk top. It says I need to log into Icloud control panel! Everytime I try to do that I get an error message that says can not sign in cause of server message! HELP?
Next day the problem still continued. I did restart my computer a couple of times and then "it worked". Not sure why - if it really was a server problem or something on my side.

Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type exactly ~/Library and click on Go ( make sure to open ~/Library not /Library, there will be two Library folders )
Then open Application Support
Right click on Adobe folder and open Get info
Under sharing and permission click on lock icon and unlock it
Click on symbol and Add Administrator and your current user name ( if not added )
Then give read and write permission to user name, admin, system and every one
Then click on Gear icon and select 'Apply to Enclosed
Click on lock icon

I have a black Apple TV that has recently stopped working. It loads the Apple Logo on screen then goes off and starts again. It's as if it is stuck in a loop. I've tried a re-boot and this has failed. I have tried a restore using a USB cable on 5 different computers, including a Mac Book Pro and it downloads the update file but when it tries to restore I get the error code 9 showing on screen. I just can't get it to do anything.

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?! -
I am signed into ITUNES and have updated and made sure all of my apps are transferred. Could it be that it is too late to update? Or is it that there is something wrong with either my Ipad 2 or MacBook Pro (2012/Oct)?

Your original post said " ... made sure all my apps are transferred. ..." What does that mean exactly? The normal process would be to sync your iPad using iTunes 11.0.2, then choose "Check for Updates" from the iPad's summary screen on iTunes. It sounds like you tried something else. -

- What cable re you using? Digitasl, VGA, composit, componet and who made it?
- TV out only works with apps that support it. It does not morror the iPod's screen

Do I have a setting wrong somewhere? Also, the battery runs down so quick. I take it off the charger and within 5-10 minutes, the battery is down to 90% and that's without using the phone. It would never keep a charge all day. Do I have a setting wrong somewhere that's causing the battery to drain and my settings keep stopping...this happens every single time I use my phone. I'm not familiar with the Marauder, but the stopping of Settings sounds somewhat similar to a problem that happened with Samsung Stratospheres last fall after an update. The solution is discussed in this post: https://community.verizonwireless.com/message/877152#877152. Basically, the steps are:
Tap on Settings, then Applications, then Manage Applications, then select All.
Scroll all the way down until you reach Settings, then tap on that to open it.
You should see two 'buttons' that you can click -- "Force stop" and "Clear data."
Choose the "Clear data" option, then restart the phone.
Users who did this often reported they had to reselect their wallpaper or some other easily-fixed setting. However, that was on a different device, perhaps dealing with a different problem. The sequence of steps and menus might be somewhat different for the Marauder, and they might or might not work, and might or might not cause other headaches. But there it is as a possibility.
As to battery drain, smartphones often have background activity going on that you're not aware of. If you have Bluetooth or GPS turned on, that will drain the battery. Like any cell phone, when the phone itself is turned on it will keep searching for a tower to connect to. Etc., depending on what apps you have installed. Whatever you do, don't install a so-called app killer or battery saver app; many of these actually end up causing a greater drain on the battery. My wife has a plain feature phone and can go days without recharging. I've got a Stratosphere, and it must be recharged every night, and occasionally during the day, depending on what I'm doing. It's just the nature of the beast, the tradeoff for having so many goodies to play (and occasionally even work!) with.
