why do i get cannot process payment for movie when all i did is change credit card
First, please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. The only people who will reply to your posts are we your fellow users. iTunes Support will never respond to posts made here.
As to your issue, confirm with your bank that they do not block access from on-line services or otherwise have restrictions on with whom a card can be used. For some company cards, such blocks can be set up. If you confirm that no such restrictions are in place, post back and we'll go from there.

So you are trying to change the account from India to the Uk right...? Cause it wont accept UK card if you're trying to keep it for India...

This is rediculous. Nobody on these forums are any help. There are tons of people who are having this problem and Apple is doing nothing. Personally my card just up and stopped working the other day. It works every where else but iTunes. I think this is what Anita is trying to say.

My Apple ID has been disabled after i tried to change my credit card details on my iTunes Store account. I am being charged money for purchases that i have never made even when the apps that i tried to download are free. I am being charged €1.98 every time. When i checked with my bank everything was in order from their end. I am changing the details and doing my purchases from my iPad. Being in Malta i use the Maltese iTunes Store for the purchases.
Can somebody help me out with this?

What is the actual error message that you are getting ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a message about it being declined then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -

Thanks!Are you trying to change it in your account in the iTunes Store? - this is the correct place to do it. In the Store, click 'Account' in the Quick Links at right. Sign in. Three lines down where it says 'Payment information' click 'Edit'. Click the icon for a card type - Visa, Mastercard, etc and enter the details. Click 'Done', then in the next page 'Done' again.
Is this what you've been doing? If it hasn't worked you will need to contact Support. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'iTunes', and then 'iTunes Store'. -

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to log into your account via the Store > View My Account menu option, and then on your account's summary screen click the 'Edit' button next to the Payment Information line
