HT1918 i was charged a Dollar for Verifying my Payment Details ?

hello sir/madam
i changed my password thus...the account asked me to confirm my Payment Method and ask me to put the password of my Credit Card..
i did as asked to verify my account details..
without any notice or demand..they debited Rs. 60 ( $1 ) to my Credit Card Account!
i received the SMS and email from my Bank..then i realised..it is for iTunes Verfication !! but why ??
isnt this too much ??
it is a unnecessary hardship on a customer...
apple cannot cheat us by Charging Rs 60 ( $1 )....without any purchases made on its website..
please help...and Refund my balance..

Same is here.  When I was trying to upgrde my Mac to new OS X Yesomite I was forced to update the credit card information and as soon I did that i got the message that Rs. 60 is debited.  This is very unfair.  I am shooting a mail to apple authorities.

    It wasn't a charge, rather a "hold" to verify your account. The hold will be released in a day or so.

    I understand you are having issues adding payment information to your account.
    If your account information does not match your credit card, you may get a message stating "The credit card was declined."
    To expand on the above, your billing name or address may not match the address listed on your credit card statement. Any discrepancy in punctuation, abbreviation, or capitalization can cause errors, which might prevent you from purchasing from the iTunes Store. If you moved, or if your zip code changed recently, ask your credit card company to make sure their records are up to date and match exactly what you are entering as your billing information.

    You can try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

    The battery will run UP TO 7 hours.
    The run time depends on what you are doing.
    Anything that puts a heavy load on the CPU will reduce the run time.
    There is a fixed amount of energy in a charged battery.
    The faster you take energy out the shorter the run time will be.
    Turn off bluetooth.
    Reduce backlight to as low as is comfortable for you.  I use level 5.
    Watching video uses a lot of energy.

    Hi Lisa,
    First, please edit your message and delete your phone number. It is visible to millions of people.
    Second, go to iTunes > iTunes Store, click your account, authenticate, and click Purchases, click the suspected app and click the Report a Problem button.
    Third, go to your iPhone's Settings and disable in-app purchases so this won't happen again.
    If necessary, dispute the charge with your bank or credit card company.
    As far as contacting Apple is concerned, click "Contact Us" at the bottom of this page. This is a user-to-user support site, and Apple doesn't read it. Hope this helps!

    Linda.. if you have not done so, contact your credit card company so they can monitor your account.
