If I change my Apple ID (email address change) will an existing iTunes Store account balance be transferred to the new Apple ID?I
Can you share how to do this because I have the same problem - I had an account with an email that is no longer valid had to create another account but how do I transfer all my purchases plus my credit balance. any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless! Jeannine

In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
The payment methods that are available in your country will show on your account. If debit cards aren't available on that screen then you won't be able to use it as your payment method. -

How do I change my iTunes account ID to my Apple ID?
I originally set up my iTunes account with an ID or username and password that is different from my Apple ID and password. I have been told that I can change my iTunes account ID to be the same as my Apple ID, but I can find no instructions on how to do that. Can anyone who has done this advise me as to how it is done?

Do you mean that you've updated your existing account, created a new account, or want to do one of those ?
If you've updated your existing account then to get that update reflected on an iPad, iPhone and/or iPod Touch then you may need to log out of the account on the device by tapping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in in order to 'refresh' the account on it.
If you've created a new account then you can log out and back in similar to above (and via the Store > Sign Out menu option on a computer's iTunes), but any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can authorise its content on a new computer, redownload it and download updates to its apps.

If the desired iTunes library is in a different Mac OS X user account, choose to log out from the Apple menu and then log in.
If the desired iTunes library is in the same Mac OS X user account, launch iTunes with the Option key held down and specify it.

The error means that your antivirus or firewall is blocking the update process. -
My iTunes account is under my @yahoo email address and I became accustomed to my @Me email and now like the idea of the @iCloud email address that was made. My questions are....can I change my iTunes account to my @iCloud name without instead of my @yahoo name without losing my years snd years of purchases ? Your purchases are permanently tied to the Apple ID (account) used to purchase them. They can't be moved to another account and you can merge accounts. You can start making new purchases with your iCloud ID if you want, but you will end up with two sets of purchases under two different IDs, adding further complication to your life.
Also, your @icloud email address is an alias of your existing @me address; emails sent to either address will be routed to the same inbox. You can decide which one you want to use as your default (as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5441) but you can't separate them. -
