HT1918 security question email is incorrect

I tunes would not let me purchase until I answered security questions that I am sure I never set up therefore I don't know the answers. The sec. question recovery email listed is not correct and I am also sure I never entered that email. I cannot get support online from Apple and will have to pay $20 to get any help by phone. Anyone have this issue?

i am trying to reset my app store security questios and i have the app store set to only send me the link to one email and all spam filters are removed on that email the email recives information about account changes just not re-set security question email links ive been trying to get pages for three days and it keeps going to the security questions that i do not know the answer to i tried at the apple store and nothing worked. i get every other email excep for the reset link. i recieve emails about my questions being answered too just not the reset. :/ please help me

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

Changing Security Questions Email Address

When I filled out the security questions for added security it asked for and email addresss other than the one I'm using to send them too. I put in my wife's email address because I have only one email address. Now when I want to change my password it sends the response to my wife's email address inside of mine. I'd like to know how to change this, or delete the added security questions.

Click "Manage My Account", sign in, and go to the Password and Security section. Answer the security questions and you'll be taken to a screen where you can then change the security questions and the Rescue email address.
