HT1918 update my payment info.

I tunes wants me to update my payment info. (My card expired) I did that but it will not accept the security number from the back of the card! How do I get this to work. I am attempting to update it on my iPad.

I think the best thing to do is contacting your bank, they can tell you if there is something wrong with your creditcard. Cause to me it seems like there is something wrong with your creditcard (or just the security number) instead of with your iTunes ID

    When I go into settings > account info … I follow the payment info prompt but am led to a screen that gives info on account verification but nowhere to actually do that.     If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

    Nothing will be deducted from your credit card if the app is free.
    There will be a authorizing hold of US$1.00 to verify your account information. It will be credited back to your account later.

    Last week I tried to change my payment info with changing credit card number. It wasn't possible. I received a message: "There is a problem with the card information entered here. Please review and try again. If the problem persists, please contact customer support." I checked my card and its all data and it was surely OK.     I tried to do that in different environment (Windows, Mac, Firefox, Safari, Chrome). No effect.

    Please, check this issue.

    I have problems as well. I've updated my payment info a week ago, there are enough funds on the card. I'm still getting a warning that my subscription will shut down. I have only one day left. And the worst part is - there is no way to directly contact Adobe about this. The only "contact" they offer is a FAQ and this forum. This is insane.

    Is there any sort of error message on the payment details screen on your account ? If not then if you enter your card's security code does that trigger an error message ?

    If the payment method you are using has never been compromised in any way while using the iTunes store and now you are having issues my best advice to you is to check with the itunes store by contacting Apple support. Quickest process to do this is to simply call apple support at 800MYAPPLE the time it takes you to fill out the support questionaire you will be contacting apple talking with the call director and on your way to talking to someone about your itunes store issue. IF there has been no event that caused your payment method to have been compromised then it's likely as not something that your payment agency changed on your credit card the last time it was issued. Should not be a big deal for the iTunes store at Apple once you are in contact with them.

    Hello. I seem to have the same problem and I've been trawling the net for similar cases.
    My old card was misplaced and had been discontinued so I was trying to put in the new details for the replacement card. The form you have on the website is quite different from all the other e-commerce forms I've encountered: no type of card (visa, mastercard, etc), no name of bank and no security number options. I've been told that my card is invalid and I should check my card details which I find strange because the only detail the form is asking for is the credit card number.
    I was in touch with three different customer support personnel (2 on chat and 1 on the phone) yesterday trying to solve the same problem. One sent me a link to the help page, one gave me a customer support phone number to call but the number was invalid and the last one (who I was able to call using a different support phone number) tried to guide me through the process (which I already tried to do myself prior to calling customer support) but told me that because my account had expired (because I couldn't update the card details) I would have to subscribe again using a new Adobe ID.
    I would like to know if the last option is my only recourse to getting back on Creative Cloud?

    You can sign out from the creative cloud desktop app and  quit Creative cloud Desktop App.
    Then please navigate to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local and locate OOBE folder and delete it. (Windows 7 or Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 computer)
    Navigate to MacHD/User/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ Locate OOBE folder and delete it. (Mac OS)
    Then launch Creative cloud Desktop app and sign in, once you logged in, please try launching Photohop and check if you are getting same error or able to launch and use Photoshop.
    Please respond on this thread if any issue.

    It could be. The app store puts a small hold on the funds when you try to download apps, even free ones. I thought it was only a dollar though, so having 2.91 should be ok. And I'm guessing since you have a set amount it's a gift card? Because if you have a credit card on file it could be as simple as the expiration date being out of date. If it's a debit card then that could be the reason because iTunes doesn't accept debit cards anymore, only credit cards.
    Are you getting this message as you try to download? Because if it's a separate e-mail it could be a phishing attempt.
