HT1918 why am i finding it so hard to change my credit card details to buy an app from your store,iv been sat here for an hour trying and it wont except my new details

iv tried and done everything that apple has asked to no avail,its not fort knox it should be simple enough,and i cant stress enough how annoying it is the amount of times im asked to sign in

It only get worst when you upgrade to Lion on a 10.5 era machine.
IMO get the 10.6 disk upgrade to 10.6.3 and nearly all your presently installed software will work, perhaps with a slight update. Software Update to 10.6.8. Stay there.
Don't upgrade to 10.7, most all your 10.5 instlaled software will cease to function and you'll be really yelling at Apple. Also 10.7 is slower than 10.6 and really needs 4GB of RAM

And to top it all off, 10.8 is being released in a few months, so your behind again.
Not only that 10.8 more often that  not run on your hardware as it's too old, so what's the use?
Another pain? Apple only supports the last two operating system versions in circulation, so your 10.5 machine is currently insecure, don't do any online banking or high value credit cards etc, sensitive information.
Apple is committing corporate suicide to miilk as many users as possible, their market share has not increased despite all the sales increases because they simply don't care for anyone who can't replace their machines every two or three years when AppleCare expires.
Apple is no longer a "computer company" more like a rich man's disposable computing tech-toy company.
