HT1920 Email is not being sent for reset security questions?

When I click send reset security questions to t********@gmail.com I do not recieve an email. I checked the spam and all other inboxes but still nothing. Anyone able to assist with this or have had a problem with it in the past.

If you aren't receiving the email (you've tried clicking the reset link again ?) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

    Why dont you just change your Apple ID (your email)? Make a new Apple ID and do the security questions that you will remember. Also, make sure you write down all the info with your Apple ID for later refrence.
    To create a new Apple ID, follow the easy steps below:
    Settings > Itunes and App stores > Tap "Apple ID: (YOUR APPLE ID IS HERE!)" > Tap "Sign Out" > Tap "Create New Aple ID"

    I do not want to download another virus program.. I do not believe it is a virus. I am running the full version of Norton 360 and it is doing a daily scan. I have Windows 7, 64 bit OS.
    This is very irritating !! If I wanted Yahoo I would ask for it !

  • Emails are not being sent on Document sharing

    Hi everyone,
    I have a created a documnt library and made it available for users. The issue is that emails are not being sent when a user creates/Uploads a document and share it with other users. Please refer below screenshot.
    Further, emails from approval workflows are being sent properly.
    Do i have to look into exchange server or sharepoint needs to be configured?
    Please suggest a workaround.

    Based on your description, my understanding is that emails are not being sent when a user share a document with other users.
    I have done a test on my SharePoint 2013, I can’t reproduce the issue.
    Did all users not receive the emails? You should check outgoing email for a SharePoint 2013 farm.

    R1: Seems you didn't configure you email account in your Outlook client properly. please refer to the following KB article and try to create a new mail profile to configure your email account again:

    try deleting and readding your yahoo accounts. Yahoo has been upgrading their servers for months now, and have been effecting users' accounts as they do so. I have two yahoo accounts and have had each of them mess up for a day or two before they start working again.
    Chances are the issue is on yahoo's end. When mine messed up I simply accessed the mail via the web and safari until it cleared up.

    Start here, and reset your security questions, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
    If that doesn't help or you don't have a rescue address, you might try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support

  • EWA Report not being sent for two systems

    Hi Experts,
    We are having one issue in EWA Report in solution manager. Searched hard but could not find solution.
    Our solution manager is configured to provide EWA for 4 systems- ECC, BW, PI and Solution manager itself.
    The configurations are in place to the extend that we are able to view the weekly reports in Solution manager.
    Issue is -
    1. We are able to recieve mail notification for Solution Manager and ECC but not able to get for BW and PI.
    2. The ECC report is coming ok, but Solution manager report is blank.
    The places I checked the configuration -
    1. SDCCN for all systems.
    2. SOLMAN_EWA_ADMIN - all systems active and chcked for EWA
    3. Background Jobs for all systems -Maintenance Package, Refresh Session, Earlywatch Alert for Solution Manager
    4. Background Jobs related to the task including SM:EXEC SERVICES
    Later on I deleted and rescheduled the job SM:EXEC SERVICES to make sure it covers all systems.
    Data is visible in Solution Manager but report is not being sent over mail for two systems- BW and PI.
    Solution manager report is being sent but empty.
    Please suggest.

    i wanted to change my security questions. I was asked to change my password because it was deemed unsafe. no problem.. it then sends me a confirmation email to confirm.. except it didn't. tried five times now. i have also just received a "welcome to apple support com..." so the email works and the apple id password works. whats going on?

    If you have a rescue email address on your account then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that email account as well as on the primary email account ? If it's not there either then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can help with why it's not being sent : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

  • HT5312 the request for resetting security question is sent to an email which is unknown and not belonged to me

    I had an apple ID opened by an apple store a year ago. Since then I hadnt purchased any app from app store. Today i was doing it for the first time which I came across two security questions which i hadnt seen so far. I requested a reset but the email the instructions are sent to is one i dont know and doesnt belong to me. I even asked the store about it and they said they either didnt know the email address. Considering that I have my ID and my password, i wish to ask you to kindly unlock my account. I would provide any additional info that might be needed.

    The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If you aren't getting the reset link then you don't have a rescue email address, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

    When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

  • Email messages not being sent

    For the past several weeks I can not sent outgoing messages via my [email protected] email account. I get incoming messages but when I send something it appears in my sent folder but people don't receive my message at all?  I have a Macbook pro retina, relatively new bought in Dec 2013. I use the Mac Mail program (8.2 (2070.6) and have the latest MAC OSX installed (OSX Yosemite 10.10.2). I have checked and there are no newer updates.  I have tried deleting my email account and reinstalling it on the MACBOOK PRO, but  that doesn't help on either my wife’s or my cox.net email. My address is of the type [email protected] provided thru my TV Cable/internet provider.  The instructions from Cox say to set the incoming server to imap.cox.net and Port  993 with SSL checked. It is.  When I reinstall the email account under "MAIL/Add Account/Add other email account, the installer does it automatically and wont let me set the outgoing mail server so I can’t see what port it is set to and I can’t find any way to see what the outgoing server is set to? My Cox provider says the outgoing port should be set to Port 465 or 587 with SSL set to yes.
    Under Accounts/Advanced the only information provided says it is using a IMAP Hostname of: imap.cox.net, Port 993 and Use SSL is checked. As said earlier this part is OK.
    I have a gmail account that appears to work fine on the same laptop.  What can I do to resolve this serious situation?
      PLEASE Help In the past with similar problems when I talk to someone at Apple they say it is a Cox problem and when I talk to Cox they say it is an Apple/Mac problem

    Let be expand on what I have tried.
    I have 4 email accounts. From my Mail account on the Mac I send emails to  myself (1) and wife emails (2) at our cox account, gmail account (3) and iCloud account (4). All are received fine and show up in my sent folders and inbox
    I go to the Cox external website (webmail.west.cox.net) where I can log in as if I am on an external computer and send my self test messages from my cox account. I also get these
    I ask people to send me emails to all 4 accounts. I get these
    However when we send from the MAC Mail from either of our cox accounts, these do not get to their intended recipients even though they show up as being sent and as I copy myself they also get delivered to my inbox on the Mac. But that is as far as they go. The intended recipient does get them. Unfortunately, Mac Mail doesn't allow you to request a read receipt. so I have no way of knowing if they get them other than to ask them to respond each time.

    You may have a corrupt preference, in order to correct this open Mail - Preferences - Accounts and re-input all the preferences for the account. While they may look ok one or more may be corrupt.

    I am facing a concern where the Purchase order output email is not triggering to the vendor. When I have checked in the SPPFP transaction code, I am having the below error.
    I have checked the below and all are seems to be fine.
    1.) In the BP transaction code, the vendor email id and communication method has been maintained correctly.
    2.) The table entries - BUT000, BUT020, ADR6, ADRC have been checked and the data is available in the tables.

    I just got the 8320 Curve and set up 2 email accounts. At first it was working fine, then as the days went by, less emails come through. I had to delete one of the accounts and set it up fresh. This worked for one day, then it stopped. Every time I check my email on my desktop, I have many important emails there (Not marked spam) that did not go to the device. Is there a schedule for pushing emails through? Is the problem with Cox Communications? (My ISP) Please help.

    Lets try refreshing the registration and service books. If you don't know your carrier's
    website, send me the name, and I'll furnish the link.
    Do the following in sequence:
    Go to options advanced options, Host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT click on any listing.
    Press menu key, and select register now.
    You will get a verification email. Then go to email settings and send service books.
    Some models like the Curve 8330 and Pearl require logging into the carriers BIS site.
    via PC. You will get an email per account for validation.
    Test the emails and see if the problem is resolved.
