My iTunes has Failed to Up-Date numerous times, I got worried and since i'm going to buy an iPhone 5 soon.. I was dissapointed to figre out that my iTunes has broke down. The Obvious thing to-do was to Un-Install the Application, That failed aswell.. So, Now i'm stuck! I don't know what to-do, It seems like my other Apple programs are Fine... I run Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Toshiba Satellite A660 and.. Oh! I forgot to add, there is this warning message that comes up when the Up-date/Repair/Un-Install Completes: PLEASE! HELP!

Unfortunately you have made two mistakes, disconnecting the external HDD improperly and installing Norton AV.
What I would try with the external HDD is installing it in a non-WD enclosure and see if you can then access the data. If not, then look for data recovery software on the Internet which may enable you to retrieve your data.
You do not have a need for AV software, especially Norton. It will cause performance problems with your MBA. Go to the Symantic web site and look for un-install instructions and rid your MBA of same.

that it wasn't and then thought it was the DEP control and found out that it wasn't this either. I'm only seem to be getting this message when installing FileDirector Component Service Version 3 on a few of our workstations which is an add-on that allows file
integration with Office and is part of FileDirector WinClient Version 3.
Your help would be much appreciated.

P.S. I know of a way to bypass this message but would ideally not like to have the feature turned on and for the message not to be appear for non WHQL certified program installations in order to make non WHQL certified program installations in the future much

You can try following options to disable this prompt, but we don't recommend you to do so since this feature helps you to protect your computer.
Option 1: Run command as admin:
bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
Restart your computer to apply changes.
Option 2: Disable in GPO:
1.Type gpedit.msc in the Run dialog and press Enter.
2.In the Group Policy Editor, navigate to User Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Driver Installation.
3.Double-click on Code signing for device drivers in the right-side pane as shown above.
4.In the windows that opens, choose Enabled. In the Options, choose Ignore as shown. Then click on the OK button to save the settings.
Restart your computer to apply changes.

I phone app will not finish installing update cannot use it cannot delete it

Iphone 4S automatically updates my apps. Open Table will not finish installing a new update. It will not let me delete the app (and there are no restrictions on in settings). I cannot open the app. I have no idea how to get it to finish the update. I have the latest IOS on my iPhone. Help! I love Open Table and want to be able to access it.

If you can't update from the phone itself, please try updating the app on your computer and sync it from there.

Reader will not automatically install updates on Windows 7

I have looked through the forums and have not seen this exact symptom mentioned:
"Automatically install updates" does not seem to work correctly on Windows 7. The updates download and I see the "update is ready to install" bubble in the system tray repeatedly. However, the updates never seem to install. I've seen this on more than one Windows 7 machine (it works ok on XP). I suppose this could be something particular to our environment, but I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to look next. Leaving the system "idle" does not seem to help and the behavior does persist after a reboot.
(I'm running Process Monitor right now and see AdobeARM.exe occasionally and successfully creating and exiting a thread, but not touching any files or registry entries.)
I enabled this setting via the registry -
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM]
"iCheck"=dword:00000003
- and can see in the GUI that it has taken effect.
I do see some files in this directory - does this look correct?

Some additional information. I'm seeing "GetLastError(): 0x2 - The system cannot find the file specified" in c:\users\(me)\appdata\local\temp\AdobeARM.log. But even using Process Monitor, it's not clear to me which file cannot be found.
Still seems to me that updater is downloading the update but never trying to apply it. The most recent thing I have tried is to quit AdobeARM gracefully and restart it. That does seem to have reduced the number of subdirectories in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Reader\9.3\ARM\ to only one (previously there had been one subdirectory per run).

I need some help with group policy assigned software. We had an old version of software that was made part of our computer image and the company that made the software decided to rebrand it and require a new install. We wanted to push the new software to
the user’s pc’s but then found the new and old software are conflicting. I then have to manually uninstall both and then manually install the new again. We decided to just manually install the software and we removed the group policy since we didn’t want to
have it conflict with our manual install. When we removed the policy we only have 2 options:
The first option is "Immediately uninstall the software from users and computers."
The second option is "Allow users to continue to use the software, but prevent new installations."
Being that half of the users have the new software installed and working fine we don’t want to have group policy uninstall the software but we also don’t want to block new installations. So we did the second option and then added the software back to group
policy but only published it, not to auto install. Now we cannot install on some computers because it has been marked as an unsafe application. How can I remove this from group policy so I can go back to like it was never added? My guess is that it is being
set by a registry key. The DC's are 2008 r2 with Win 7 systems.

Does it work using the same source file, if you try to install manually?
I suspect something with IE security zones or alternate data streams
(Zone Identifier...).

Applications will not finished installing

I have downloaded Pocket Informant and when I go to install on my Tour it says downloading for over 1 day. I have deleted and tried to reinstall after rebooting and the same thing happens. I tried this with BBM (which disappeared after downloading pocket informant) as well and am having the same problem. Has anyone experienced this and if so, how did you resolve it?

If you are doing this via AppWorld (you didn't say...), please clear the application cache:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Storm/Pearl -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
4a. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
Then try your install again

Found the answer:
Java for OS X 2014-001 includes installation improvements, and supersedes all previous versions of Java for OS X. This package installs the same version of Java 6 included in Java for OS X 2013-005.
