HT1923 Can't download Itunes and if I download it says "I can't run because there is a new version..."

I need help. I used to have Itunes on my computer but something happen and now I can't install it anymore. I click on download somethimes it comes nothing but somethimes there is a mask and I can click ok but still nothing happen. I deleted all related programms from the computer and done all what they suggesting in Itunes support but problem remains. What should I do?

I updated to iOS7 this afternoon, before doing so I backed everything up and cleared off a bunch of photo's so I had space. Everything had been working fine.
A few months ago I'd updated my apple ID to my new email address and it had worked fine. Now, my old email is my Apple ID and it won't let me rest it (my DOB is apparently wrong and there is no email address it's now connected to). My iTunes is connected to the correct account but the iCloud ID is still the wrong one.
I've tried the 'find my friends' app and it gave me new T&C's but still, the old apple ID
I've tried the restrictions, but that didn't work either
I can't restore the phone until 'find my iPhone' is off, but I can't log in to do that
IT'S LIKE A TERRIBLE CYCLE OF STUPIDNESS
Can anyone suggest anything before I thrrow this stupid phone at the wall??

This sounds like a possible permissions issue. Try these steps. Uninstall iTunes and all of it's components. Next, download the newest version of iTunes and save it to your desktop rather than selecting run. Right click on the installer package and run as administrator. My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

In iTunes, select the music you want to delete (⌘+a to select all) and hit Delete on your keyboard.
Also delete the music files in Finder. Also make sure you have your own Apple ID and iTunes account and logged in.

Holding down the shift key while iTunes is opening. That will bring up the 'choose iTunes library' dialog. Select 'Choose LIbrary' from the choices and navigate to your music folder and iTunes music folder.

I was able to fix mine. I went to software update and updated a few things. I did not update everything, but only what I thought were the essentials, which I believe was Safari, a security update, and a firmware update.
Then I deleted and reinstalled Itunes yet another time. Now the itunes store is back up again.

Thanks again. The option thing got me further than I've gotten thus far but when I went to choose a library I got that same message.
I do have options. I have 2 iMacs. I can still access my music through 'sharing' and download it onto my newer iMac. Trouble is it doesn't have a CD port and I like to burn. From what I've read about their new Mac portable CD/DVD drive, it's shaky at best. Incidentally, do you know of any drives that work well with Macs and cost less than $89.00?
I've figured out I can download a previous library from my old Mac then upload it from the new one which should put me back in business, but what do I do with the corrupt one that's there now, just trash it? Also, when I do the option key my other choice is Create A New Library. Should I do that and put the good previous library into it?

I had my iTunes library on my old Dell Inspiron, transferred all info to my new HP Pavilion PC, downloaded iTunes and my library is there, but when I try to play songs, it says can't play because can't locate the original files...how can I activate the songs to play? The iTunes library is also in my Windows media file, and the songs will play in there, but I set iTunes as my default music manager and want the songs activated in my iTunes library so I can play them and sync my iPod. This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
