I have downloaded and installed the new ios7 software on my iphone 4s but im having trouble getting through the activation process i keep getting the message "iphone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached"? any suggestions?
The activation servers are probably overloaded with everyone trying to update to iOS 7 today. You might need to wait and try again later.

I keep getting the following message on my phone "Sorry! The application Email (processcom.andriod.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and there is a force shutdown button, which I push but keep getting the message. Any ideas how to make it go away so I can get my emails?
Have you installed any applications recently? A task killer maybe? You can try rebooting the phone and see if that helps.

I know my Apple Id (it isn't ".mac") and password but I can't log on to ichat. I keep getting a message of password not matched. I saw somewhere that my Apple id is the same as my ichat account. Do I need to create a new account for Ichat? I've already reset my Apple id password 3 times in the last 2 days. What am I doing wrong?
Hi,
At one time only Email IDs from Apple (when it was just @Mac.com) were referred to as "Apple IDs"
Other IDs such as to log in to Discussions were know as Discussion IDs
Things like the Online Store and iTunes and Apple realising that people would prefer one ID to have access to Everything tended to move things together.
There can be a variety of combos now
iChat Name
@mac.com before MobileMe
@mac.com post MobileMe
AIM Names
AIM names current
MobileMe (@Me.com)
Style
Email Address valid with the .Mac service prior MobileMe Note 1
Email style Name Valid with AIM
May or may not be an Email address
Can be AIM issued or third party Email address

May Not be a Valid Apple ID (was an option choice at one stage)
Is a Valid AIM Screen Name

Current Registration seems to be pushing Email registration (@AIM.com)or asking to use another you currently use.

I already tried reducing the maximum number of connections to 1, but I'm still receiving the message. Is there anything else I can do?
My computer is a Mac mini running OSX 10.9.5. Firefox is version 34.0.5.Ok, IMAP server almost universally allow multiple connections. Thunderbird as you would have observed uses 5 if they are available. As Airmail suggested, iphones just use more and more until they exhaust the available connections. There is no set maximum option.
However there are other things that can consume connections and some may surprise you.
Anti spam tools such as mail washer
Anti virus programs in their anti spam or anti phishing roles
Web mail.

That is from the top of my head. So could any of those apply. -
I have been trying to download a movie to my IPad. I have never had trouble before but the last two times I get an error message that says "Cannot Download" There is not enough storage to download your movie. You can manage your storage in Settings.
When I go to my settings it says I have 5GB remaining storage and 5GB storage used. I have deleted a lot of my music and games but am still having trouble. Has anyone experienced this before?5GB is typically not enough space to download a movie. Often, movies take from 3 - 5 GB to begin with. The only option you have is to delete more things from your iPad. You can remove unused Apps, pictures, music, text message (messages with pictures can take up a lot of space), email messages, books, magazines etc.

I have installed iTunes on my new Windows 8 laptop and I get the "iTunes is not installed properly. If you wish to Import or burn CDs you need to reinstall iTunes."
I have worked with Dell technicians and we have re-installed iTunes numerous times. We modified the Registry by adding the Upper Filters key and we removed the CD player in Device Manager and allowed it to be automatically reinstalled by the computer. All of this failed.
Please help!Hello ,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
I understand you've already uninstalled iTunes previously to troubleshoot this issue but make sure to follow the steps in the following article to remove iTunes and all of its components in the specific order listed.
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923
If the issue persists, continue troubleshooting with the following article.

I've installed iTunes 10.6 on my Windows 7 machine. Everytime I start it I get this message: iTunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn CDs you need to reinstall iTunes.
Reinstalling iTunes made no difference.
So I found this article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3299 and updated the registry like it said and it still didn't work but it also had the effect of making my CD drive no longer work for anything, including playing movies. Before following those instructions I could read and write cds using Windows Media player. Fortunately, I had backed up my registry leaf and restored it.
So I've been trying to figure out how to burn a cd from iTunes for close to two months now with no luck. Does anybody know how to get rid of the above error message?
Thank you!

With Windows 7 I have completely deleted anything that was associated with Apple, Help, Support, you name it. It was verified nothing Apple. Reboot took place. I reinstalled iTunes per instructions and once again I got the following:
iTunes was not properlyinstalled. If you wish to import or burn CDs you need to reinstall iTunes.
Oviously something is amiss.Having finally found a post to the same situation, I ran diagnostics and believe I have the same problem as this post. Here is the diagnostic report:

Apple Mobile Device 5.2.0.6
and so on... -
When I open itunes, this message keeps popping up, "itunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn CDs you need to reinstall itunes."
Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.
