I recently had my MacBook stolen. I have an iPhone which had selected playlists, photos, ringtones, and apps from my old iTunes. Now I have purchased a new MacBook Pro and would like to sync my iPhone with my laptop, which has a whole new (empty) iTunes library. However, when I choose "sync" my phone with the new iTunes, it says it will erase all items on my iPhone and replace it with my new iTunes library(which is empty). Can someone please help me?? I really would like to keep these photos and playlists!!
You can transfer items on your iPhone to iPhoto, iTunes, etc. the software merely transfer the data, it does not store it. Very handy software to have around.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

My problem started after installing "smartsync app" which is supposed to sync my phone with the profilepage photos of my friends in facebook. All my apps crashed after using them for awhile.While using my apps, they will black out after a little while and the phone returns to the starting page. I have removed the smartsync app but my phone still behaves the same way. At the same time the dates that accompany my messages changed to another language. How can these be rectified?
Eek. Sounds like something in the app caused some serious software issues. You can try a hard reset, but I'd imagine you're probably going to have to do an iTunes restore to get it running right again.

Why you can't redownload? Don't you have the Apple ID that used to download these apps?
You can "transfer purchaces" by right click on your iphone in iTunes but i guess you computer is not authorized and will ask you to authorize with Apple ID. Try it. -

HT201253 I cannot sync my 5S with ITunes. I can sync my iPad with same cord and computer
I recently sent my 5S through the washing machine and got a replacement 5S. I am running Windows 7. I was able to "restore" it from iTunes without any issues other than I hadn't back up in a month. Now when I try to sync with iTunes it gets to step 5 of 5 and I get a "windows message that iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to shut down". I can sync my iPad using the same cord, computer, and program with no issues. I went through Apple support and uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes under their guidance. I was then transferred to another level of tech support and got cut off. I have not heard back and have tried to reopen the case without success so I am hoping someone has a way to resolve this issue so I can back up my phone. Thanks

Whenever I tried to sync and upload my iphone files to the library a message comes out that the iphone is connected to another pc. Hi, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, my itunes library wasn't backed up before the reformatting. hence, I lost the itunes library. I downloaded a new itunes to the newly reformatted pc and did follow your suggestion to transfer purchases from the phone. However, when i made some imported content from cd into the itunes library, it couldn't be sync to the iphone. How do you transfer new content from itunes library to the iphone? I wasn't successful in moving the content from the playlist to the iphone anymore.

I downloaded a ringtone ap, picked out my ringtones and sent them to myself, got them in itunes and then synced my iphone. No new ringtones on my iphone. It said to look in custom, I do not have that listed under ringtones in sounds. What do I do or can I get different ringtones on my phone?

Your iPod encountered an erro has has to be restored, which erases the iPod. That is how it works.

To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Yes, in SOME games i notice a small fps increase, and in some game sit helped a lot tbh. and in other it didnt change worth a snitch. as far as sound quality goe... yes there there is a diffece. depends on your speakers, my cheap 3-year old 80$ 4.'s are imrpoved.. but not much. my sound system is under for this soundcard.
