HT1926 the new version of itunes downloaded to my pc but when i try to open it, it automatically closes any idea why?
i have deleted my itunes off my pc and downloaded the new version to my pc. When I try to open itunes it tries to open. shortly after a window pops open and says that the program is shutting. why?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

My iPhone 3GS cant restore iTune software, I tried to update the last version and did ok , but when I try to restore the program a message said, no dispositive found.I see on the screen a usb and the iTunes icon indicator.

Delete it from your device by holding your finger on it until it starts to shake, then hit the little cross to remove it.

Have you tried closing the iBooks app completely and seeing if it works ok when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e.not with the iBooks app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iBooks app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If neither of the above work then you could also try deleting the app and re-installing it - as long as the books are still in the store and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used then you can re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 -

I have authorized my new computer and all the songs that I have purchased through iTunes have transferred to my new iTunes version, as have the apps., only the songs from CD's have not transferred. I am a pretty new user to the iPhone and iTunes and do not want to lose the music that I transferred from CD's but do need to update my phone.
Does authorizing my new computer allow the CD songs to transfer into my music list with the purchased songs if I continue to update and sync my phone?
Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated.The iphone is not a backup device. The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases.
You need to copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of the old computer to your new one. -
how do i sync my audible book to my ipod touch. i see it in my itunes library but with the new itunes look..it is not allowing me to drag it to my ipod?
i find the new look quite un-user friendly. also cannot see my summary tab anymore.You have to update to 10.6.8 first.

Is it possible that some of these songs were purchased with an Apple ID you may have been using at another time? You mentioned that you don’t see these purchases under your past purchases in the iTunes Store. I recommend checking to see if they are hidden under your current Apple ID using the steps in the section titled “To unhide your purchases” in the following article:

here's what i did and what's now happening:
-i downloaded the newest iTunes
-i updated my phone
-everything got installed (into my laptop and phone)
-my phone restarted
-it said to enter in my pin number
-i did
-says the pin number is blocking it or something
-it's now saying i have to insert a sim card with no pin (which i do not have)
can someone please help me? i need my phone and atm i cant use it :/

Itunes 10.7 installed ok but when I try to open it, it starts and then stops?
Clicking on the Itunes icon, the program starts, asks if Apple can modify the drive. I click on yes and then the program immedietly stops.

You need to contact iTunes Customer Support.
I had the exact same problem and they gave me a full refund so I could download the movies again.

I just got this computer today, everything works fine but I cannot connect to the internet. The Wi-Fi thing in the top right corner tells me that im connected, but when I try to open Safari, it says that I am not able to connect to the internet. The problem lies between your router and the ISP.
Pull the modem or router/modem power plug, wait about 30 seconds and plug it back in to establish a new connection to the ISP.
Try another website, another device and see if that works if not then call your ISP for assistance and/or reconfigure the router.
If your router isn't secure and you had bad leechers the ISP might have suspended the access or perhaps met the monthly data cap rate.
