Disappointing is to wait for days just to find out that supposed to be free app or download would be £12.99
Please do not allow this non sense

Some apps are written for the iPhone. Some are written for the iPad. Some are universal and will run on both.
That app is NOT universal. That means you must purchase a separate version of the app for iPhone and iPad. The iPad version will NOT run on the iPhone.
In these cases, the iPhone version of the app usually WILL run on the iPad, but it will be window-boxed when running (or expanded and unable to take advantage of the iPad display).
Pay attention when making a purchase if you want it to run on both. If it does not have a + in the price box, it is not universal. -
What does it mean when a purchase is billed to "store credit"? Is it one of those iTunes gift vouchers? Only reason I ask is because I downloaded Ken Follit's FREE book from the 12 days of Christmas app and seem to have been charged 10.99 for it!?

Am persevering thru it, will get there eventually, as I had already tried to press the Report a Problem link on the invoice, but it won' t connect to iTunes store on my iPad, it keeps saying can't connect. I accidentally deleted,one of the 2 movies that came with the toy story bundle available of the 12 days of Christmas app (which is great by the way). iI tried to redownload the movie but I can't as it tells me it is part of a bundle and I already have part of it.. therefore I tried to delete the other movie so I could redownload the entire bundle again, but I cannot delete this movie from my ipad. I have tried to delete it from the video app and the ipad settings app. even though it appears to have been deleted and no longer shows up in my videos app, when I try to redownload the bundle it keeps telling me the same thing, that I have already purchased part of this bundle and the movie reappears in my video app again. any way I can delete and redownload as it was free today and of no cost to anyone.
Hey, I have a similar issue.
I downloaded the Toy Story bundle and it worked great. I later deleted them from my iPad as I didn't want them taking up space, however a couple of days later when I went to redownload them I can't! The little iCloud button is there but written beside it is 'this can only be purchased as a bundle'.
How do I redownload them from my purchased items?? -
12 days of Christmas app not downloading content
The 12 days of Christmas app not downloading content just hangs. Today's book will not download at all. Have reinstalled both app and iBook with no luck. Can still download from App Store so Internet is ok. Any suggestions?
It seems that if your Settings->General->International->Region Format is not set specifically as Canada you will have this issue. (even if your times zone and iTunes account settings are correct...)
Changing that setting from US to Canada was the fix for me. -
12 days of christmas app hanging on my ipad2 (ios 5.0.1)
When i run the 12 days of christmas app it just hangs on my ipad2. I am UK based. Anyone know how to resolve it? I am running IOS 5.0.1
Have you tried closing the app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the 12 Days app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the 12 Days app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Why wasn't I able to download the twelve days of Christmas gifts? as I downloaded the 12 days of Christmas app or is it now just used as a ploy to sell your iPhone and iPod etc

Why weren't you able to download each day's gift ? Whilst the 12 Days app required iOS 7 to be able to install it on a device, each day's gift was available to download direct in the iTunes or App Store apps, or via iTunes on your computer. -

I'm a little bit confused right now, so maybe you guys/girls could help me out.
I have an iPod 2nd gen, past year I could download the 12 days of christmas app for my iPod, but now I can't anymore, that's a pity! - Apple, everyone is a user for your products, everyone has paid. Please fix this.
But, for those who haven't a iPod or iPhone, they could download the apps and the music from the Mac App Store, source: MacRumors.com:

Okay so about four days ago my ipad says it has apps to update but whenever i go to the update apps page it will not load and i have tried rebooting signing out but nothing will work, any suggestions?
If you are getting the blank app update screen, many, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days. It is a problem that Apple must fix now.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then. -

Sync deleted my free christmas apps
I downloaded the free games from the 12 days of Christmas app directly to my iPhone 3G and the first time I tried to sync with iTunes it told me I only had 4gb memory and had overloaded my phone. It then deleted the 3 free games and a separate free app. Now when I try and re download them it is saying I have to pay.
The free app I can get again as it is free but can anyone help with getting the games back for free as I was quite enjoying them and would rather not have to pay for them.You can re-download purchased apps for free, as long as you use the same account used to originally purchase them. Click buy, a popup will appear asking if you want to buy, click yes, another popup will appear saying you already purchased, do you want to re-download, click yes.
