I forgot my user name Apple ID
Currently the phone is unlocked without it
I made a version update and now it will not start without verify the user name and password
I no longer use this email
Is an old email
What can you do about it? Is it possible to recover by Phone

That is asking for a user name

If that ipad is running iOS7 then no, you cannot wipe it without the user's Apple ID and pass word....which isn't usually something a person forgets. The cynic in me would be very suspicious of a person selling a device that says they have no access to the password protection on said device.

Today I tried accessing my email accounts, entered into internet mail account, suddenly my user name and password were blank and I totally forogt them both. I never needed them in the past whenever adding or removing email account, therefore, I never memorized or wrote them down.
Now, I am totally out from eamil settings becuase I forgot my internet mail account user name & password
Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks

Try again. Whoever you talked to is misinformed. From what you are describing, your BlackBerry Internet Service account credentials are what you need...and Orange manages that account for you. They indeed do have the ability to reset the account for you. They may have to shut it down and recreate it, but they can fix it. Indeed, ONLY they can fix it. If you get the same answer, be gently persistent and request escalation. Be sure you are using the correct terms...your BIS account credentials is what this is about. Your email account credentials are totally irrelevant.

I forgot my user name & password for Firefox Sync 1.3.1

I set up Firefox Sync 1.3.1 on my main PC, but when I tried to sync a laptop (some days later), I couldn't remember/find the user name & password fort Sync. How can I recover them?

Look for these names:

I downloaded oracle and installed it on my pc about 4 months ago for uni - We are now revisiting the suject.
I booted up forms designer and then wanted to run an sql script - however I cant even remember what my username or password is for connection - How can i retrive this - are there any standard ones?

Ok, you have lost your Username and password.
You can enter a sqlplus session with sysdba privileges and reset the password.
1. Connect as sysdba from the command line:
sqlplus / as sysdba
2. Once you are in a sqlplus prompt issue the reset command:
SQL> alter user scott identified by tiger account unlock;
It all depends on which user you are unlocking. If you created a default database, then you have several other demo accounts which remain locked, HR, SH, OE, PM.
If you require a new account, then you must create a new user. Look for the CREATE USER command to accomplish this task.

Forgot user name on mac air 2010, can you help.

I recently changed my account settings but when i restarted the macbook air 2010 i forgot the user name, i left password blank but the yin & yang symbol must have been a default, because as the mac shut down the user name came up as whatever name goes with the symbol for yin & yang allocated by the macbook in system preferences users & groups. I cannot open my mac until i know the name of the symbol so i am desperate for help, please will someone look on there 2010 macbook air for this symbol & tell me what name comes up in the user name bar.

Anyway, I found another solution (I retrieve the name typed earlier
in te application and saved in a text field). On PC, I use
BuddyApi. baUserName and even baComputerName (or something like
that) to find the computer name of the user.

I had been using a service provider in India (Vodafone) for my BB for about a year, and have recently moved to the UK, and changed my service provider to O2,
I was wanting to add an email account, and realised that I forgot the user name on the email set up screen (not my email username, but the one that I need to use to login so I can set up my email (sorry, I know am not being very clear about this, but...am not really very tech savy),
How do I get this username (am quite sure of my password, but its my username that I have forgotten)....

Contact the mobile provider on which the BIS account stands and ask them to reset (delete and re-add) the BIS account. They might be able to tell you the BIS account username, but sometimes they can't.

Recovering user name and password in Oracle 10g

Longback I installed oracle databse 10g on my windows xp box. Now I can't remember the user name and password to log in to the database using the Database control login page. The only thing I did at that time is activation of scott account. I am able to connect to databse with scott/tiger in SQL*plus. So how to I recover the username and password here. Any help please

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am new to Oracle.What I need here is how to Log in to the database from "Oracle database control" Login page. I forgot the user name and password. I think I need to select the SYSDBA option in that page. Just curious to know how to recover the username and password for SYSdba. When I try to log using scott and tiger it is saying that I don't have sufficient admin privileges to login. Is reinstall the only way out to get the user ID and passowrd.

Or are you locked out of the device itself? In that case, after 10 failed password attempts, the BB will reset itself and your info stored in device memory will be gone. Hopefully you've backed up using Desktop Manager.

Try using the forgot password link when you are on the sign in screen. The username is always the email address you registered with, so put your email in and it should send a password reset link. If you have multiple email addresses and dont remember which one you used try this with each email until you get a reset link.
