What do you see when you go to Settings > Phone?  TTY should be after Blocked.

    Can you see the Canon EOS camera and image files using Windows Explorer? If not disconnect the camera, close all applications' shutdown Windows, and TURN OFF the power to your system and ALL connected devices. Disconnect all phones, iPads, and any other USB devices and restart your system.
    Retry Windows Explorer and see if your camera is showing. If so try LR import again.

    If you know the password to your apple id login - you can then do a restoration once you have put your device into recovery mode using itunes.
    read this article to give you direction how to put your device into recovery mode.
    Once you have put in your apple id login and password this then will allow you to restore the device once the device is placed in recovery mode.

    The iphone is not a storage/backup device.  The picture sycn is one way - computer to iphone.  The photos are also reduced in size when synced to iphone so they are not of the original quality
    It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup of your computer.
    Have you failed to do this?
    If so, not good at all, you can e-mail the pics to yourself - keep in mind they will never be of the original quality

  • Is there a way to download the other photo albums off of my iphone

    About 2 months ago my computer crashed and i lost everything. including all my photos.
    The photos stayed on my iphone and are still seperated into the albums that iphoto made but when i go to sync it with iphoto i can only import the photos i have taken with my camera not the other albums.
    is there anyway to download the other albums off of my iphone so i can have those photos back?

    When you installed Win 7, did you lose all other data on your computer in addition to your iTunes library and photos, or did you create a backup for other data beforehand which didn't include your iTunes library and photos stored on your computer's hard drive?
    The iPhone is not designed nor intended to be a backup device and for many people, a 16GB iPhone does not store their entire iTunes library. Even if you transfer all photos available on your computer to your iPhone, all photos are optimized for viewing on your iPhone, so if Apple did support transferring these photos in the opposite direction, the original resolution of these photos would be lost.

    I updated my wife's iPhone 4 to IOS 7.  While trying to setup the new installation, I get the message " Find My iPhone must be turned off before Phone can be restored.  Go to iCloud Setting on your iPhone and turn off Find My iPhone before restoring your iPhone".   The problem is that that option is not available on the phone at this stage of the set up.
    Any suggestions?

    I tried that but I still got the message "Unable to verify account information."  I saved it anyway and when I go to the Exchange email account it says "Cannot Get Mail" "The connection to the server failed."  We are running Microsoft Exchange 2010 and I was always able to sync my calendar and email before I upgraded to IOS 6.

  • MacBooKPro, I can switch the power on and off, but booting takes for ever

    I am a new Mac user and have had this machine for a couple of months and in the learning stage. Yesterday I had downloaded some mp3 songs and were trying to play them with itunes, individually they would open but i couldnt import them to the music library. I noticed the machine slowly and by this morning, it has crawled to a stop. I can switch it on and off, but when i switch it on, it takes a long while for the apple logo to come on and then it takes ages for the screen to appear and when i click on something it takes many more minutes for it to open. So in fact I am frozen out, since i cannot open anything...but the machine can be powered on and off.
    do you think that there is a relationship between this freezing and the mp3 downloading and trying to play it with itunes?
    what might this be? Can any one help me with some advice. The apple support is closed for the night so i cant even call them. Thank you so very much...

    welcome to Apple discusions, if you can power your book on, can you open "Activity monitor"? (found in applications/utlities).
    What may have happened, is that itunes is still trying to import the files. Now, also, whilst the threat of viruses is not as bad as on Windows PC's, I always scan my "new arrivals" (i.e. all files, even music files purchased from the apple store) with clamxav , which is a basic, but free;
    But for the moment, I would not suspect anything harmful, other than that an application is trying to run something. (your logs should reveal, found in console )
    Hopefully, your activity monitor reveals the offending application that e.g. takes all the processor power and you can click on it and "force quit" (from the Activity monitor menu).
    It might also be a good idea to look at +verbose mode+ which will tell you what is happening during the booting up.
    Any of the above any good?

    If all of that stuff checks out - and iTunes is telling you that the apps have been downloaded to the iPad - try this.
    Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Right click on your iPad name on the left side of iTunes under devices and select Transfer Purchases from the pop up menu. Then sync with iTunes again. Don't eject the iPad yet. If you still don't see the apps on the iPad - click on the Apps Tab in the iTunes window on the right and see if they show up on any of the iPad screens. If they do - make sure that all of the apps are selected (checked) to sync - (checkmarks in the boxes next to the app names) - check to make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked and as well and then sync again. You may have to click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes if the apps were not selected to sync.

    Basically, someone was hacking my apple account for a while and kept changing the password so i kept resetting it, now i've had to change my email as icloud still wouldn't accept my new passwords - even after being updated. Now i can't sign out of icloud due to it being the wrong email and an unknown previous password, as i can't turn off find my phone.ipad. How do i solve this without losing everything as i can't just delete the account and the usb ports on my laptop have gone so i can't back up to my laptop. I'm running completely on icloud but desperately need it to update so i don't lose all my uni work as well off my ipad.

    If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
    This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
    However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
    The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
    You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

  • Music and sounds with apps won't work when I have the ringer button turned off on my iPhone 6.

    If I have the ringer shut off using the button on the top left of the iPhone, no sounds or music play for any of my apps. I can still play music and can hear sounds over youtube, but don't get any sounds from any other apps, both apple and 3rd party.

    I have exact same issue.  One thing that kind of made it work was to Go to settings, Cellular, LTE and select data only instead of data+voice and restart the phone.  I don't want to accept that as a solution.  I have a case open with network tech support to troubleshoot, but it can take 3 business days for them to look into it.
    It's not a hardware problem (at least for me).  I got my phone at Best Buy.  I lucked out and they had one more left in stock so they replaced it.  I have same issue with replacement phone.  Issue seems to be with network/line on AT&T end.  It seems that it can make a handshake to acknowledge incoming call, but fails to complete the connection.
