Hello i have iphone 4 after contract from vodafone germany and i have really big problem with unlock that phone. Please help me. Phone is after contract and it should be possible to unlock it for free but when I am trying to unlock phone on vodafone.de site it shows me information Kein Entsperrcode gefunden. which means that its no iphone on imei which i have. my imei: 012429001655346

If the iPhone is locked to Vodafone, Germany, only they can help you. Take up the matter with customer care.
Escalate if no result.

My Company switch all iPhone 4 to iPhone 5s with Vodafon LTE Contract. Now Many users hab bad call experinces and bad voice quality. Vodafon told thats a problem with the iPhones and not with their network...
Are there known Problems with 5s and Vodafon?

Why is my iPhone 5 sending data over cellular while on wifi using Vodafone Germany?

I know that this is a common mistake on verizon iphone 5. i have the same problem with my iPhone 5 in Germany. It keeps sending data over cellular while I am on wifi. The wifi connection itself works though, even when I turn off cellular data. So my wifi is not broken.
Another thing that makes me curious is that my iPhone keeps sending data to somewhere and I don't know what it is sending. This led to the point that I reached my Monthly limit of 200mb within 2 days!!! And almost 95% of that was upstream. So I bought another 300mb and turned off cellular. Now I turned it back on and the megabytes are just running through. I thought it might be diagnosis and iCloud but I turned both off and it's still the Same way. Due to the enormous amount of data that is being sent the battery empties really really fast!! I was on a 20 minute car drive and my battery went down 23%!!! When I turn cellular off and use wifi it behaves completely normal.
So this is really annoying me and I hope that Apple will fix this or one of you guys can help me.

You may have a problem with your WiFi network if your iPhone can't stay connected to it.
If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPhone. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPhone on some other networks: a friend's, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is with your network. Try restarting your router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPhone does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPhone is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

Exchange student from Germany, purchase iPhone 5 w/o Simlock in USA is it going to work back home? LTE? Telefon?

I am an exchange student from Germany who started his year in mid of August.
Now that the iPhone is out, I would like to pruchase one, but there are obviously some promblems, which the Applestore doesn't want to answer me without calling them.
So the problems are basicly that the LTE Frequentes are different between at&t and Europe, but between Verizon and Europe similar or the same out of that they are diffent Models (GSM- and CDMA-Model).
What does the different Model means and would I be able to use it in Germany after my exchange?

How can I get Vodafone to unlock iphone 4s. They say my IMEI number cannot be verified?

I bought an iPhone 4s nearly 2 years ago believing it to be unlocked. I started a sim only contract with Vodafone. Now my contract has ended I used a PAC code to move my number to Three. Unknown to me my handset is locked to Vodafone. I have asked them to unlock and all I keep being told is the IMEI number on the handset cannot be verified. I contacted apple support yesterday who said new iPhones will lock to whatever sim is first put in it! They advised me to back up my phone on iTunes and then erase the phone and all data. I did this and then put in the Three sim. It is still locked. I tried to restore my phone from backup and that does not work. So now I have an iPhone locked with all my info gone forever. Why are Vodafone being so difficult? Is there any other way I can get my phone unlocked?

Désimlocker Iphone 4S pour utilisation en Nouvelle-Calédonie

Ai acheté le 17/01/2012 un iphone 4S (chez SFR) en france et je cherche à le désimlocker depuis la Nouvelle-Calédonie. Pourriez-vous m'aider SVP! On m'a
dis qu'il faut attendre trois mois (ok délais passé), et ensuite contacté SFR pour avoir confirmation du Désimlockage! J'attend une réponse mais toujours rien. J'ai essayé de mettre une carte sim d'ici ( opérateur en Nouvelle-Calédonie "OPT") mais sans succès, le téléphone ne detecte pas de carte sim.
Si je vous donne les références en détails du de l'Iphone, serait-il possible de me dire si "Désimlockage fait, SVP"

Eric, you can help low memory problems by periodic reboot. Hold both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and the iPad restarts, ignore the red slider if it appears.
The iPad 1 has 256 MB memory, the iPad 2 has 512 MB memory, the iPad 3 and 4 have 1 GB memory.

Un-simlock iphone warranty changed by apple

They are OK, bur I've got a pb : one year and a half ago, Apple changed my iphone under warranty and so my operator doesn't know my serial number.
So they don't do anything and I don't know what to do ?

SN of your old phone, or SN of your new phone? SN of your new phone can be found here: Settings>General>About>SN>IMEI number.
For your old phone, have any backups listed for it in iTunes>Preferences>Devices? If so, hover your mouse pointer over the name of the backup, the SN & IMEI number will appear in a Popup.

Dialing within Germany with iPhone 4S

I want to use my iPhone 4S to make a few calls from within Germany, using Verizon roaming rates. My understanding is the formula is dial +, then country code 49 for Germany, then area code, then phone number. My question: do I dial '0' before the area code as I would if dialing from a German phone, or omit the '0' as I would if dialing from the US. My assumption is the latter, but if I'm wrong I'd like to know. Also, anyone have experience with Verizon data plan (now $25 for 100 meg) in Germany or other European country? If so, tips? Problems?

No, I'm not kidding you. AT&T have never unlocked iPhone's locked to their network. Why? No-one knows.
If you wanted an unlocked iPhone, why didn't you buy an unlocked model from Apple?
You purchased an iPhone "without contract". It say's on the box that it requires service with AT&T.
"Without contract" does not mean "unlocked". And it doesn't matter how much it cost, it's still locked.

Costs for calling Vodafone Germany with active sub...

I have a question about payments too. I have spent a lot of time online with customer service, all of whom are very nice, but I don't really get an answer.
I used a subscription for Germany - 400 minutes a month and noticed that it cost 3.7 cents a minute. I also saw that cost to landlines and cellphones is 2.3 cents a minute. I continually call a cell phone. But I am charged 6 cents a minute.
I called and was told it because I called a Vodaphone (?) which they said was a cell phone. So why the cost?

Sorry, but this does not help with my question. You are correct that my subscription had run out - but that had nothing to do with my question.
My question concerned the rates themselves. Calling a cell phone in Germany with Skype Credit is 2.3 a minute and calling the same phone via a subscription is 3.7cents a minute. Therefore I thought it would be cheaper to use Skype credit and did not renew my subscription, but instead bought additional Skype Credit. However, upon further research I realized I am paying 6.7 cents a minute when I use Skype credit to call that one cell phone.
Again my subscription ran out and I saw that the rates were actually cheaper using Skype credit (2.3 vs. 3.7). I was informed that it was because the number I was calling was a Vodafone - which is a cell phone. I don't understand. Also don't understand why you had access to my account. But hey -
My second question to the customer service rep I spoke to (very nice person, unable to solve either problem) was why can't I put more than $10 on my account at one time. I wanted to put $25. I can put $10 on numerous times (3 times in a row for example for a total of $30) but cannot put $25 or $30 at one time.

Vodafone Malta SimFree Iphone 4s

I live in Malta and I will go back to Turkey in one month.Before I leave,I want to buy an Iphone 4s.For now I couldn't find any Iphone 4s Simfree at Apple Store.They said that they dont sell yet.I asked someone from Vodafone and he said I sell no simfree Iphone but If you buy an Iphone from Vodafone(with no contract) than I will send a request to Apple and they will make the Iphone simfree.Do you think I should buy?I read a lot of thing about activation and some simfree Iphone problems.(They says It's simfree and they make them to buy Iphone but when they go back to their country they see that the Iphone is not simfree) I dont want to have problems when I go back to Turkey.
